Kinda covered in the Karaoke category but I certainly sympathise with those suffering from heavy bass noise as its virtually impossible block out or mitigate. I myself have experienced it at 2 different locations the culprit much to my surprise where both times "students" paying homage to their teachers on national teachers day these where "students" who thought it was perfectly acceptable to setup a magawatt sound system and blast "meditation" music for want of a better description at sound levels that vibrated windows and doors from before sunrise till sunset in a dense residential area. I would have thought any teacher would have taught respect for others among teachings but I thought wrong.

Mr. President, the border crisis is not on us, it’s on you
johng replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Trump doesn't have Alzheimer's Biden quite possibly does. Why is Biden not being prosecuted for the classified documents kept in his gargage ? As for the 91 charges just part of the witch hunt, if Trump gets back to the Whitehouse I hope he'll find a slew of charges to fling against his political enemies in retribution...use lawfare against them as they have not just against him but his followers whilst having the audacity to call themselfs defenders of "democracy" This witch hunt against Trump is the polar opposite of democratic it's dystopian dictatorship. -

what are some stories about Russians trying to make $$?
johng replied to Foroitalico's topic in Phuket
I'd say "Ya Bah" or methamphetamine is worse but yes alcohol is bad too, prohibition doesn't work best just to legalise everything stop the "war on drugs" use that money to help those who want help to stop using in a detrimental way (those that have no problems carry on) those who commit "crimes" treat them as anyone else there are ample laws to cover every possibility already. -

This textbook hasn't been written yet give it a few more years for the "truth" to come out in the new ones..or maybe not. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraine-must-not-be-pressured-into-bad-peace-deal-says-uk-pm-johnson-2022-06-07/ -

They should have taken the deal offered by Russia that was amost agreed to but Boris Johnson rushed to Kiev pledging full support if Ukraine scrap that and fight Russia. Fight to the last Ukrainian a price well worth paying for America and its lapdogs to "weaken" Russia and provoke regime change in the Kremlin... -

They still have about 80% of it and it's a big country (but not as big as Russia the largest country in the world.) they could have more left if they hadn't listened to Boris and Biden right at the beginning. -
Nope a vote for Trump could be seen as a cry for help..won't someone anyone save us from the present "liberal" lunacy. + he is quite entertaining in all his fake orangeness, doesn't start wars, fall up stairs or off bikes and wants to make America great again if I had a vote he would get it just for the satisfaction of seeing those who have lead the witch hunt against him and his followers squirm seeing him in the Whitehouse again.

This needs to be reiterated again and again. Meanwhile the Trump witch hunt continues even though his opponents try to imply he is mentally impaired. -

he literally did open the doors on some part of the wall..continued to build it in other places and tried to stop some states from putting up barbed wire fence to stop the hemorrhage. Of course Mexico was never going to pay for it...however it could have been built for less than the money already sent to Ukraine. -
If you already have the aircon just run it at a temperature 3-4 degrees below outside air temp and it will "naturally" de-humidifie the air in the conditioned room, when the evaporator (inside the room) is cold then condensation forms on it (like a cold beer on a hot day) drawing water (humidity) from the air. If it gets too cold for you then increse the temperature on the aircon remote the humidity will stay low for quite a while rinse and reapeat when you feel hot again. When the evaporator is cold the compressor is running so eating electricity the longer the compressor runs the bigger your electricity bill, dry mode or a very low temperature setting will run the compressor for longer. Myself I just set the temperature to 27 degrees not dry mode thats fine for most of the time untill the very few nights the outside temperature goes below 27 degrees which is not that many on the eastern seaboard of Thailand, up in the mountains its obviously cooler so perhaps open the windows on cool nights mosquitos, motorcycles, karaoke and barking dogs permitting.

Those 2 panels are spot weleded together pusude the mouse to move out with a pointy instrument along with the nest. Keeping the rodent from comming back to nrst again is a whole other problem.

There are already enough laws to cover everything they just need to be applied and enforced consistently. Defamation law certainly needs reform though. The push for "online safety" is just a smokescreen for more draconian control measures so they can track and trace ,censor and prosecute unfavourable speech, speech that is true but goes against certain narratives that powerful entities are pushing at any particular time...pre crimes and thought crimes.

Russia wants to secure its western border they have taken almost 20% of Ukraine in the Donbas and Crimea regions to that end, there is absolutely no sign they want to advance any further west let alone all the way to Calais.

johng replied to Cheesekraft's topic in Air Pollution in Thailand
Yes I agree C02 is greening the earth and the particulate matter pollution across Thailand is mostly due to burning forest and fields. -

Biden did not call for the sacking of Ukraine prosecuter ? ,Rusiagate, Hillary's email server, Hunter Bidens Laptop from hell, Biden's classified documents in his garage deemed too demented to stand trial, Trump called to demonstrate peacefully, the capitol police let in protesters and escorted them around even taking selfies with them, Rey Epps pipe bombs in 2 locations near to the VP on "inserection day" yes its a witch hunt plain as day to me.
