  1. I'm having a ORA good cat as rental car. Any idea how to change the language completely to English? Menus on the small and big screen I have managed to change 95% to English. However, GPS and voice control still in Thai language. Hope some farang owner can help me solve this mystery. Thank you
  2. No and no. Not required
  3. Problem is and still will be the power of the senate to appoint a new prime minister. Reading the Thai Examiner article until the almost end, even if the now-opposition parties garner enough MP seats and decide against the senate, it will result in unstable government with limited spending powers. Everyone's denying a coup attempt, but with the military dominant senate still in place, the possibility is still not completely off the table.
  4. But contradicts the previous announcement of BYD that their Thailand factory will only produce Atto 3 for RHD markets???
  5. Sanook also has another article about the BYD Dolphin, saying orders can be made with delivery in July. Nothing said for the Seal, unfortunately. I would be surprised if you can see the inside of the car this time. Most likely not. I need a new car/ EV asap. So 99% the MG 4 will it be. Dealer said less than 2 months delivery time, more likely one month after financial documents are approved. God, I wish it were those times again when you can step into the dealership and buy a new car right away from the showroom
  6. Strangely in the European MG4 version this shortcut button let's you select the driving mode. Don't know why the Thai version is different from that. But I would appreciate to have this option here as it seems to be more useful to me than the shortcut menu, Android auto or 360° camera. Maybe it can be changed in the future at MG workshop or third party car programming shop

    CLC vs. AAC bricks

Have you looked at the provided link? I don't think these concrete bricks from CCP are comparable to locally made "grey stones" that you describe. They're made in a factory under a standardized and certified process. You're comparing hand mixed concrete by unskilled labor vs. ready-mix concrete from a dedicated plant.
  8. Reading that reminds me that as a temporary solution you could even add tiny amounts of urea to low-protein feeds like straw to increase protein content and feed to cattle. https://www.yara.com/industrial-nitrogen/animal-nutrition/animal-grade-urea/#:~:text=Urea can be used to,grazing feed quality is poor.
  9. A bit expensive I would say. But have to see the space inside and dimensions of the real car. But throw in a little more THB and you'll get the MG4 in basic trim with the size of a VW ID.3
  10. Loan probably also provided by the contractor... My mind boggles. No wonder Thai farmers always stay poor
  11. Send it to Richard Barrow
  12. You can turn it off and it depends where you are driving. But I don't want to miss ACC and TJA for driving on the motorway and inner city of BKK. So much easier and relaxed. You don't have to do anything

    CLC vs. AAC bricks

I want to revive this topic because I found this interesting concrete brick stones from CCP brand. https://www.ccp.co.th/product/9621-9619/บล็อกก่อผนัง-hollow-block-มอก57-2560-มอก58-2560-มอก57-2533-มอก58-2533-astm-c177 (simply translate with Google translate) They're categorized into non-load and load-bearing, which can eliminate the one or another reinforced concrete beam normally used in abundance in Thailand. They're available in 19 cm wall thickness and seem to have a good K-value with K-Value (W/mk) 0.1133+-0.047 R-Value(M2.K/W ) 1.676. I guess the price is also cheaper than CLC or AAC bricks. What are your thoughts?
  14. That's right. But it is a thing not only related to EVs. Mercs and BMWs will have the same issues here
  15. As usual, Thai press looking for a culprit and news to make headlines, instead of addressing the real drug issue in Thailand: Alcohol and Meth / Yaba
  16. For short term Urea will do the deal. It is cheap but not good for soil in the long term. Depends how long you are going to let the grass seedling in the soil of that particular field. Using manure, compost or any organic soil amendment will pay back in few years
  17. BYD Han and Tang most likely not coming to Thailand because they won't make a RHD version for it. Neta S received bad reviews about built quality and operation comfort. Ioniq 5 and 6 I guess hopelessly overpriced due to import tax Ora Lightning, the interior totally turns me off.... Looking much forward to the BYD seal. Pricing and availability in Thailand
  18. Not only MG and BYD. Don't blame the cars or the systems. Problem is the Thai traffic and roads. especially road marking and signage. I asked the sales about the automatic traffic sign recognition of the MG 4. She said it has it but also acknowledged that there are rarely speed limit signs along major roads...
  19. Ora Good Cat seems to be no longer offered in Tech trim version. Just Pro, Ultra and now GT
  20. New version = MG ES or the facelift of the MG EP? Because as far as I know there are no cameras or radar sensor in the MG EP, hence I don't think it has adaptive cruise control
  21. Short question: Does the current MG EP or previous version have adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist? Or just plain cruise control (setting speed only)?
  22. What platform used for the MG ES (MG 5)? If still no dedicated EV platform, I'd opt for the MG 4 or BYD Atto 3.
  23. I hope the international press and travel promoters / SM influencers spread out this wonderful news
