  1. As usual, Thai press looking for a culprit and news to make headlines, instead of addressing the real drug issue in Thailand: Alcohol and Meth / Yaba
  2. For short term Urea will do the deal. It is cheap but not good for soil in the long term. Depends how long you are going to let the grass seedling in the soil of that particular field. Using manure, compost or any organic soil amendment will pay back in few years
  3. BYD Han and Tang most likely not coming to Thailand because they won't make a RHD version for it. Neta S received bad reviews about built quality and operation comfort. Ioniq 5 and 6 I guess hopelessly overpriced due to import tax Ora Lightning, the interior totally turns me off.... Looking much forward to the BYD seal. Pricing and availability in Thailand
  4. Not only MG and BYD. Don't blame the cars or the systems. Problem is the Thai traffic and roads. especially road marking and signage. I asked the sales about the automatic traffic sign recognition of the MG 4. She said it has it but also acknowledged that there are rarely speed limit signs along major roads...
  5. Ora Good Cat seems to be no longer offered in Tech trim version. Just Pro, Ultra and now GT
  6. New version = MG ES or the facelift of the MG EP? Because as far as I know there are no cameras or radar sensor in the MG EP, hence I don't think it has adaptive cruise control
  7. Short question: Does the current MG EP or previous version have adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist? Or just plain cruise control (setting speed only)?
  8. What platform used for the MG ES (MG 5)? If still no dedicated EV platform, I'd opt for the MG 4 or BYD Atto 3.
  9. I hope the international press and travel promoters / SM influencers spread out this wonderful news
  10. The OP has never tried good coffee if he thinks Starbucks is the king of coffee...
  11. Another reason not to step a foot on this mafia island ever again
  12. Can't wait. The earlier it comes here, the better. I need a new car in the next months...
  13. For green soybean or edamame. It's a snack similar to boiled peanut. There's a whole industry in Chiang Mai with one company dominating the business. They have the finest equipment from seeders to sprayers and even harvesters for the green soybeans. Plus the factory for processing and deep-freezing. They're exporting worldwide with Japan and EU being the biggest market. To your feed ingredient, I would guess most of the Thai feed mills trying to mix their formulations with local grown corn and cassava. Maybe fishmeal. Soybean most likely imported from Brazil or South America.
  14. All just foil. Yellow looks good however. Seems to be the same color they offer here for the MG5. Pink, no comment.... Would love to see the MG4 from stock with the orange color they have on offer in Europe
  15. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, the BYD plant in Thailand is going to produce only the Atto 3
  16. I'm already put off from the WR-V when I see the seats (front and especially rear ones) from pictures or vdo reviews. They look like they're made from stone or wood. Also the car is designed for and made in Indonesia. Guess that says a lot about the built quality, interior and comfort. The point about higher ground clearance and possible flooding is not valid. Does one really think a few centimeters make a big difference but loosing a lot of comfort on paved roads. I'd definitely would stay away from the WR-V and consider the City Hatchback.
  17. Why all this hate against the cannabis legalisation? Has it so far caused any trouble to the society besides creating countless businesses and employment opportunities? As already said by other posters, I think Thailand has more pressing issues than a re-criminalization of cannabis or any step backwards as the current state.
  18. That's okay. But I really recommend you to make a test drive with the MG4 electric. It is on par with Volkswagen ID.3, which says a lot about the built quality plus 8 years battery and 5 years vehicle warranty (and it comes with a lower price). Apart from that you could have a look at the Honda City Hatchback or Nissan Kicks. Yaris' automatic transmission is horrible and drives like a rubber band. Mazda I don't like personally but others do...

  20. What's your budget and estimated annual mileage per year? MG 4 EV could be a possible option...
  21. Upcountry voters might lean towards Yinluck, Bangkok voters towards FF/PMP. PPR, Bhumjaithai and Democrats might be the big loosers. Elites are unhappy about this, making a coup not unlikely...
  22. Yes, typical Thai thinking. Cheap at the beginning but don't think about the running or replacement costs. Most people don't understand that they could save half of their electricity bills by using insulated houses. But I've given up to explain this concept to Thais. Let them do as they please. Not my house or money....
  23. Only one reason: Just to show off the car is new. Why do you think most Thais don't remove the plastic cover from newly bought items like any other normal thinking person would do. I've seen new car with still plastic cover an their seats. The mind boggles but TiT. Don't try to make any logical thinking approach to the majority of people here...
  24. Inside the frame is desiccant to absorb moisture
  25. @sometimewoodworker I correct myself regarding the u-values. Profile manufacturer Deceuninck claims a u(f) of 1.5 which sounds okay to me. https://www.deceuninck.co.th/EVERESTMAX/6217c02a679ec60013ac93b4
