It is too bad that the top authority of Thailand does not get the death penalty used more often. There are many people who should have their lives ended, so the people of Thailand do not need to pay for them breathing air, and eating.

I am glad to see money spent on space ventures. So many people spend money on earthly matters only to see it go into a black hole, and no real benefits to show. Just google how many bad loans etc have happened around the world, it will shock you. Governments all over the world have the skills to take tax payer money and throw it away to some other country, where it is just wasted and not paid back.

I will never support Hamas or any other terrorist group. I do not agree with Isreal allowing their people to occupy any part of the WEest Bank area. Since Gaza is being controlled by Hamas, and they hide among the other people in Gaza, when I hear of the deaths, and the media does not seperate how many Hamas members are included in this number, I am tired of the media coverage of this war against Hamas and the other terror groups that are fighting with Isreal. Iran is not a great country, in my opinion.

In Canada, being a large country, EVs are good for an in town, or in city vehicle. Until they can go over 1000 kms with the AC or heater on, I will never buy one. Another reason is that Canada does not have enough charging stations built yet. I imagine that Thailand is the same, as there are a lot of people in that country, and can they all get their car charged when they are away from their homes? I am glad to see the factories, and companies are backing off their production. If the countries do not have the infrastructures ready for EVs, then it is foolish to keep building these espensive vehicles. I am not a fan of car fires as well.

I have seen both polite smokers, and a lot of smokers who are jerks. Any smoker who thinks that the people around them should not be offended by their noxious smoke, are the jerks. They like to be up wind, or near door ways, etc. I think that most of you posters know who i am talking about. I like this doctors idea, of a non vented room for the smokers. Just put a small cubicle between the room and the exit, that way people can go in and out freely, and only their foul breath and stinky clothes are to be tolerated.

When I travel with my Thai family on tours, it s3eems that only one of them will sit up front with the driver and stay awake, the rest nap for most of the travelling part of the tour. I told my wife that I have seen a lot more scenery than, a lot of Thai travellers.

Local justice. This fellow was likely a thief for a while and the locals had enough. Sometimes the expense of courts, jail time and police involvment can be saved I guess. I do not have much sympathy for any thief. I had toys stolen when i was young, plus a few other items after i was an adult. Not every Thai person is rich like most expats and people who can afford to travel the world are. I met many nice people who do not have a lot of possessions, and i have met many not nice rich people as well.

It is a shame that dogs can attack and kill, but then the dog is allowed to live. Even dogs that only get known to bite people and be aggresive, should be put down in my opinion. I have seen owners make their pets aggressive to be used as guard deogts, then seem surprised when the dog attacks someone. Ignorance and stupidity are closely related.

My one relative,s house got a 1.2 meter flood in the 2011 flood. cost them a fridge stove, and furniture. I think they invested in some bricks and wood to put the furniture hig above the floor for the next big flood.

In Thailand, it looks like money still talks. The justice systems seems to keep that statement alive and well. Many cases bought off through out the years. We do not get to hear most of them. This is Thailand. I still love the food and the climate and beaches.
