Given the sad sight of maimed and slowly dying birds underneath them I suggest wind farms should also be banned. At least, when a cat catches a bird, the bird's pain is relatively short-lived.
Britain has been blessed with significant reserves of oil, coal and gas. Successive British governments have denied, and continue to deny, the British public the benefits that should have accrued.
EVs, and oil driven cars, will soon be superseded by vehicles using other fuels including ethanol, hydrogen and, quite possibly, water. The amount of money currently being invested in battery driven cars is short-sighted, to put it mildly.
Good point. Better late than never for a thorough review of hiring policy. Surely the fundamental criteria for selecting somebody for work as important as flight traffic control must be to appoint the person best qualified to do the job.

The one problem I have with the death penalty is that, on occasions, the not guilty are executed. In the USA there were over 20 such cases in the last century. Imagine what it must feel like walking to your execution knowing you are innocent.
