    I was referring to the fifty thousand approx Greenlanders themselves, not their so-called govt. I wonder how they would react if the USA offered them. say, 5 million dollars each.

    Greenland is no longer a Danish colony although, since 1979, Denmark has remained responsible for the defence of Greenland, its' foreign affairs, and for its' judiciary. All other aspects of Greenland's constitution are now independent. While the Danish govt appears opposed to the Trump initiative It would be interesting to know how the majority of the 50k approx population of Greenland feel about it.

    Very sad, however when motor cycles are driven on the wrong side of the road, against moving traffic, an accident is almost inevitable.

    Making a film of a fake landing would involve a lot of people. Not one person from NASA, or from related agencies, has ever indicated a hoax.

    This article has been overtaken, to an extent, by Trump saying he thinks Starmer is doing a good job. However, this could just be a softening-up tactic by Trump prior to tough trade negotiations.

    You refer to 'immigrants'. I suspect that most of us are described as non-immigrants by the Thai government and as such we are under no obligation to write, read or speak Thai. However, if we are living in Thailand it is common sense, and makes life easier for us, to learn to communicate in Thai to the best of our ability.

    Trump is not the first President to have joked about taking over Canada. Greenland, however, would be a strategically useful acquisition if a deal could be done with the Greenlanders/the Danes.

    Correct. Cannabis, the use of which is legal in Thailand, has a calming effect. This incident sounds more like a combination of alcohol and crystal meth (yaa baa). Latter is illegal as a result of which those under threat of arrest regularly allege they have been taking cannabis.
