If she'd tried this in Singapore she'd be in big trouble. She'd likely get off free in the UK . In Thailand she will likely face deportation but no other penalty so long as she pays the store and compensates the police.

This doesn't sound at all like a reaction to cannabis. More likely a combination of alcohol, prescription drugs and jet lag. Pure cannabis consumption would calm her down, and would not result in any form of aggression.
