I find this obsession with whether or not to wear a mask rather puerile. If Thais feel more comfortable if people generally wear masks that's fine by me. Doesn't bother me one bit. -

Personally renewed my UK passport through VFS Bangkok last year. Could not have been easier. No hassle, and new passport arrived within 6 weeks. I do, however, have a house in Bangkok which makes things easier.

This should have been dealt with long before the election. It's a shame because the senate now have the excuse they need to block Pita's/MFP's right to government. -
I'm afraid not much is going to change. At this point it is far from clear that the MFP will be allowed to govern, let alone govern with it's leader as PM.
