  1. Wait a day and try again. I had a similar situation booking a flight from CNX to DMK - the luggage add-on function for the flight I intended to book was inoperable. I checked other flights, same route, and luggage add-on functionality was available, so the website "problem" was with that particular flight. I waited 24 hours, tried my preferred flight again, and the error had been corrected.
  2. The one travel agent that still exists in a storefront somewhere (near you, apparently) is grateful for your business.
  3. This may be true but if you live on the NW side of the city, the convenience of the TOPS market and the BBL branch open on the weekend was quite nice..
  4. It's the business model. They start with a low delivery fee, get you used to ordering through their app, then once they have a steady customer base they increase the fee to improve profitability. As far as cancelled orders because there are no drivers, you do know that we've had rampant flooding in parts of town over the past 10 days or so, right? That means (a) fewer drivers as some cannot get to work and (b) increased demand for food delivery as potential diners cannot get out and about. This exact scenario also applies to Bolt, Grab, Food Panda, inDrive, etc.
  5. More like 7K for filling in a form and you skip the queue at Immigration. That said, if you meet the financial requirements, there are agents who charge half that - and for that price, I pay to skip the line.
  6. Zero chance that Assist Thai visa charges only 7K plus govt fees when the customer cannot meet the financial requirements. That's why he's being quoted 25K, which I'm guessing are quotes from Assist Thai Visa and OS Thai Visa.
  7. Extended my permission to stay last week using an agent. As usual, I had to provide the financial details that proved I qualify for the extension (in my case, twelve consecutive monthly deposits of 65K THB or more, i.e., "the income method"). No other financial details requested/required.
  8. https://huahincab.com/ 2,000 thb (includes tolls) Edit to add: for a Toyota Camry vehicle.
  9. Typing a phrase into the google search engine is not "research", lol.
  10. Might be able to buy a chair with that.
  11. No quarrel there. The point my agent was trying to make was that instead of some months being 67K THB and some months being 110K THB, to standardize what I transfer to give the appearance of a "regular" amount being transferred in from a pension. Hence my comment that I'll just do 65K and change for future transfers. (I surmise that in someone's train of thought - whether immigration officers or my agent - a number that is consistent over time is easier to correlate with a pension payment. Dunno.)
  12. Funny you should ask..... I visited my agent this morning after picking up my 12 monthly statements from BBL and the letter that CM Immi wants showing the FTT amounts listed by month for the last year. One of the first things the agent asked me was if my deposits were directly from a pension or if I transferred them myself (which I do.) She told me that immigration wants to see direct transfers from pensions into the accounts so - in the future - I should transfer the "same amount" (or as close as one can get with FX fluctuations) so that it looks like a steady pension income flow into my account. All of my future WISE transfers will be as close to 65K THB as one can get.
  13. Yon Wang and his cousin, Long Duc Dong.
  14. I wish.
  15. Well, that escalated quickly.....
  16. The question was "who would you most like to have sex with?" Sorry to see that your top choice, Prawit, didn't make the top ten.
  17. Not as frustrated as everyone else that you continue to post the exact same words over and over and over again.
  18. OP, I requested my 12 monthly statements via the app two days ago and.....the statements were emailed to me within five minutes. However, I'll still have to go to the bank to request the 12 months statements as immigration here in CM won't accept the self-printed statements.....plus, I need to obtain the letter to which you referred that lists the itemized deposits by month.
  19. The letter than BBL created for me last time had my name, account number, and listed the amount transferred into the account each month, identifying each month separately. I needed that letter plus the twelve months' worth of statements showing FTT transfer code (international.)
  20. Here in Chiang Mai, Immigration requires one to obtain both the statements from the bank and the letter from the bank.
  21. As you know, Thailand is already drowning in red tape.
  22. Unfortunately, much of your intended audience won't see your post. They're outside yelling, "You kids get off of my lawn!"
  23. It's unfortunate but seeing the songs posted in this thread brings back memories of the smell of my grandparents' house. Ugh.
  24. Some interesting articles pop up when you google "red rimmed t-shirts Thailand".
