  1. Some have two.
  2. For most of the OTPs that I require, I can receive via push notifications through the bank/retailer apps. In those instances where that isn't possible, I use another individual's Thai phone number.
  3. I use T-Mobile exclusively in Thailand. I didn't even bother with a Thai number this time.
  4. Nice. Seems most of the problems with WISE transfers are those destined for Bangkok Bank.
  5. True in that it will be rejected online. In Chiang Mai and my last 90 day report was rejected when submitted online because it was my 'first' (first on this particular visa and passport.) Instead I mailed it in and it was accepted - so I didn't need to go in person, as was alleged by the poster to whom you were responding.
  6. Whether they enforce that or not is unknown to me.....but they're quoting the Immigration Act which, if this law site is correct, reads: "Any alien, alien, who fails to comply with the provisions of Section 37(2), (3), (4) or (5) shall be punished with a fine not exceeding 5,000 Baht and with and additional fine not exceeding 200 Baht for each day which passes until the law is complied with." The real question to me is whether CM Immigration's additional fine of "2,000 baht per day" is a typo or not (meaning is it deliberate?). https://library.siam-legal.com/thai-law/thai-immigration-act-penalty-sections-61-84/
  7. All of the lowbrow humor directed at this poor woman....
  8. Politely disagree. OP also said in another post: "So you telling me that if people move around and the address of their original stay has changed they have to approach the resort and ask them to go online & fill out a bunch or <deleted>. We have taken numerous people to get a tourist visa extension and never had this problem before. " Pretty clear to me that OP doesn't know what a TM30 is or how it's submitted. We'll never know since we weren't there but, as they say, based upon a preponderance of the evidence...
  9. I also did not receive my weekly Monday BBL balance notification today.....my friend finally received one very late in the day. These are normally received early Monday mornings. Perhaps not directly linked to the WISE transfer problem but that's two separate procedural aberrations for Bangkok Bank on the same day.
  10. From what you've described, this sounds like a TM30 issue. Don't think that's anything new.
  11. So were you finished 20-30 minutes earlier than you expected? Sounds like a good news story.
  12. If you're referring to the former construction site on the corner of Huay Kaew Rd and Ratchapuek Rd, it appears to be some sort of automobile maintenance/repair and/or tire sales place.
  13. After finally catching the fugitive, it turns out that the confused foreigner in question had simply missed his 90 day report and was not, in reality, on overstay at all.
  14. Edible cannabis works for me.
  15. Funny, when I first read the title I thought, "How convenient! Thai immigration in Khon Kaen will come to your home so you don't have to go to immigration." Lol, stupid me.
  16. Give edibles a try. Weren't available when we were school-aged (not in my area) but I enjoy the buzz more and they don't cause the throat/lung irritation that smoking may cause for some people.
  17. I mailed my last 90 day report. Pretty painless also.
  18. My Place Lounge, 80 Loi Kroh Rd www.facebook.com/MyPlaceLoungeChiangMai Radost Cafe, 10/1 Soi 1, Sri Poom https://allevents.in/chiang mai/superbowl-lvii-2023/200023976060212
  19. "Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand was named South-East Asia’s safest city and the 32nd safest among 416 cities across the world. According to the Numbeo website, Chiang Mai won 75.5 points for safety in South-East Asia, followed by Davao in the Philippines (72.4) and Singapore (70.8). United Arab Emirates capital Abu Dhabi was named the safest city in the world with 88.8 points, followed by Qatar capital Doha (85.5) and Taiwanese capital Taipei (84.9)." To be clear, the ranking (as noted) was conducted by Numbeo and the criteria were "safely walking alone in daylight" and "safely walking alone at night". (Ranking might be different if traffic safety - or breathing particulate matter safety - had been added.) https://www.thestar.com.my/aseanplus/aseanplus-news/2023/01/30/chiang-mai-beats-spore-as-safest-city-in-region
  20. So for future reference of interested parties, the mailing address for 90 days reports listed in the pinned topic is still current and mailing your 90 day report remains a viable option. Three business days to process, receipt returned via Thailand post.
  21. That's the correct address but it really doesn't matter for an ACH transfer - your account is with Bangkok Bank, not with a particular branch. I think I used the Silom branch address for an ACH transfer to my account, an account I opened in CM. As long as your account number is correct (and you use the BBL routing number), the money will end up in your Bangkok Bank account.
  22. March and April - same as every other year.
  23. "The possibility of a big Covid-19 rebound in China over the next two or three months is remote as 80% of people have been infected, a prominent government scientist said on Saturday. The mass movement of people during the ongoing Lunar New Year holiday period may spread the pandemic, boosting infections in some areas, but a second Covid wave is unlikely in the near term, Wu Zunyou, chief epidemiologist at the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said on the Weibo social media platform." https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/21/china-says-covid-outbreak-has-infected-80percent-of-population.html
