This is probably office-dependent so I think most would recommend asking at the Imm office, or state which one in hopes of getting an office-specific response. The issue MAY be that leaving the country and returning to the same address does not result in a 'new' TM30 being filed as it might with a domestic hotel filing a new TM30 for you. So returning to the same address after an int'l trip leaves an accurate, valid TM30 in place. If I think a new TM30 was filed by a hotel on a domestic trip I would absolutely file a new TM30 after returning to my 'permanent' address. And I would ask what CW's policy is when returning to the same address after a int'l trip.

US Social Security 1099 for 2024
bamnutsak replied to flexomike's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
This was actually Dec. 27, 2024. A full month before the IRS even began accepting returns. On myssa you can opt in for message notification, so once I got that email I logged into myssa and downloaded the 1099. While not absolutely necessary for me it's nice to have the paper backup. Other 1099's for me became available online in January with the last one popping Jan. 25. As far as I can tell I have not received a paper copy in the mail (yet?). I did receive a paper copy last year, and in previous years. And I have received other paper copies like the 7162 and 2025 COLA letters. -
And what is the date in the box, lower left, "Notify your address again on..."? This must be a new "practice". I have received 90-day reports (online ext stay/ret--CW) with a next report date past my current ext of stay date, including last September. During COVID and for a brief time (Sep 2021? for me) Imm at CW did issue a new TM47 during the ext process, but that was a one-off.

Bangkokians Dub State Efforts to Combat PM2.5 as Ineffective: Poll
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
For five (5) days. With a price tag of 140 million baht (planned), with some (DoT minister) saying it was closer to 190 million baht. I think it was a good experiment but probably not sustainable. A bit like using boat propellers to repel floods, or rainmaking to eliminate air pollution. -
It would be better if Congress passed a law, rather than ceding more power to the Executive branch, but those days are long gone. Presidential Actions https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/ Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/02/keeping-men-out-of-womens-sports/ Poor Riley Gaines will have to get a real job now. And J.K. Rowling, whatever will she do now? The NAIA outright banned all trans athletes last year. Charlie Baker, head of the NCAA testified that there were fewer than ten (10) trans athletes among the 510,000 competing. The NCAA agreed to accept Federal guidance, which this edict offers. Trumps' earlier trans bans are a lot more sweeping... Thailand's New Digital Arrival Card Stirs Confusion Among Travellers

If they expect airlines to enforce this requirement, and the first point of departure, then they will need many, many more months to implement this. And what is the purpose? The TM6 was suspended for a reason - it was unnecessary and useless, and the TM30 system would be much more reliable in tracking down the wayward tourist. Of the six or seven reasons offered by officials for the TDAC, none ring true.- 118 replies

Trump Says Iran to Be 'obliterated' If He Is Assassinated
bamnutsak replied to Hawaiian's topic in Political Soapbox
I think he was flexing for Bibi? The majority of the Iranian population, 80+%, does NOT support the Islamic Regime. If 'obliterate' means what I think it means, murdering ~ 60+ million people seems like an over-the-top threat. -

I think over 70 uses the Fast Track option rather than the Thai national lines/desks? https://aseannow.com/topic/1336234-no-more-fast-track-immigration-arrivals-at-bkk-airport-for-bizfirst-class-passengers/page/2/#findComment-19174754 -
Have you filed your return yet? (You state that you had to obtain bank documents first.) What was your "assessable income" and tax paid? How did you pay the tax? Cash? QR code? What was the source of the funds that you remitted in 2024? How did you determine that some/all funds remitted were "assessable income"? Did the RD rep. agree with your determination?

No. My guess is that this CBD-dominant strain is probably, if at all, grown for CBD extraction. And Hemp is probably more efficient for CBD production? And the market for CBD-dominant flower is probably quite small, as is apparent by the lack of availability. As mentioned there are other CBD-dominant strains, and 1:1 strains, available in flower format here. Some of the other 'designated' landrace strains are available here.

On the plus side, one assumes that arriving passengers won't have to provide a hand-drawn map to their lodgings.- 118 replies

O no Canada! Canadians Booing the American anthem at hockey games
bamnutsak replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
They're just cranky because a Canadian team hasn't won the Stanley Cup since 1993. -
Maybe check in with Myanmar border officials. This chap could be working in a call center.

Kasikornbank: Verify SIM card name by April 30
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
These were True SIM cards that the company claims were inactive, unregistered and purchased in small quantities from small distributors. https://trueblog.dtac.co.th/blog/en/rama-9-call-center-case-2/ In a photo of a larger bust recently, the massive haul of SIM cards showed them to be Three (3) (U.K.) branded. Probably a good idea to make sure your SIM card registration name matches your bank account name.
