    Cochlospermum. Suphanica in Thai. Pretty tree but messy. Around December all the leaves fall off and then the blooms start opening and for a couple months you have a constant drop of flowers on the ground, about tea cup sized.

    No. It is not normal. As mentioned/shown above if they have workers that need to live on site they will set up temporary shelters to use. Some builders send crews from site to site across the country and they stay on the site. Other companies will have local workers that are only there while working.

    Here in Ratchaburi it is smoky. Sugar cane season. I would say it is somewhat better than past years so far. My meter is only showing in the 80 -90 range. Past years it could get over 200 PM2.5. But there are still a couple of months to go.

    When you first get your drivers license here you need a medical form stating you do not have conditions like those.

    Of course I do. But most people living in the USA would see it as a praying figure and lawsuits would be filed to stop it.

    Pacific Cross was advertising a new, more expensive, policy that would provide coverage for pre existing conditions. I don't know if they still offer it. However I had taken a look at it and pre existing condition had a 2 year waiting period PLUS they were only covered up to 300,000 baht.

    If they had that Ronald McDonald figure standing outside McDonald's in the US there would be so many lawsuits.

    Our lot is about 73 x 50 meters. A 180cm high wall around the whole thing cost about 1 million baht. Lots of stainless steel on the wall facing the road though. Plus they pounded pillars 4 meters into the ground first. So the cost was about 4K/meter. This was in Ratchaburi.
