There are people that are born with both sexes. So it is not necessarily a man that became a woman.

I know I am not the best with tones so harder to understand.
But I think sometimes they see a foreigner and expect them to speak english and are trying hard to understand what you are saying. But you are speaking Thai and it all sounds like a big scramble to them because they are not listening for Thai.
I once ordered at a coffee shop and the girls mouth opened in shock. I asked her if i said something wrong. She said no, you said it clearer than most Thai's do. I told her I must of got lucky.
It costs around 5,000/year to insure our house here. To be honest I don't know what exactly would be covered. Like if the roof starts leaking I don't think they would cover it.
We get insurance because it is required by law. Otherwise I am sure lots of Americans would not get it. Also in America someone can break into your house, fall down, get injured, sue you, and win.
In the first photo look how dirty that one panel is. Maintenance doesn't seem to be a priority.
I don't know about them partly blaming rainfall unless the roof also needs maintenance.
No matter what it says it still often comes down to what the individual officer thinks is correct.
I once got rejected in Ratchaburi when I filed it 4 days before the due date. When I went in and asked why he said I waited to late and to do 14 days before.
It is normal for them to charge you a 2 or 3 percent commission when cashing a ticket. Alternatively you can take the ticket to the lottery office in Bangkok and cash it with no fee.
Also I have heard that GSB, Om Sin, will cash tickets for you if you have an account with them.
Also be aware that some lottery tickets now have a charitable donation(charge) on them. So if you win that amount is subtracted from the winnings too.
They have regular interest paying accounts and then they have the 'lottery accounts'. Instead of paying everyone interest they have drawings for the payouts. So for every big winner there are way more that got nothing.
