  1. Ok.. I've gotten one for every year I've been drawing from SSA since Jan 2018.
  2. Hum... ???? Not much at 13.00 either, but things do change...
  3. You know how to make a point.
  4. I also take a small amount of Lasix diuretic 10mg. (I cut 20mg pill in half).
  5. I guess you're experiencing leg cramps at night, too. The doctor should have tested you for hyperkalemia. I hope you don't have it. I control my potassium levels by mixing Kalimate with 30cc water and drinking it with one of my meals. I space it out over a few bites. WHen the doctor first gave this to me in hospital her staff just mixed it and had me drink the whole mixture straight away. Good luck. There is another method that I was prescribed, but it involves taking a cortisone steroid derivative (oh it's only a little they said). I gained 20 kg over the next 18 months. I've managed over the past year to lose 10kg. The steroid causes you to produce a hormone that tells your body to store your food (aka build fat). (The kalimate can also be administered in an enima, but I haven't gone that route. I normally mix one packet per day)
  6. Aw, @richard_smith237, are you feeling persecuted??? Imagine being a 'relatively' conservative US citizen... ???? You're a good dude... I agree 100% with the 'whole' comment you made.
  7. Oh I think you're confused. This guy was definitely 'triggered' by something someone said, like, "BLM is a scam" or "Don't mutilate children".
  8. No it will stay about the same. It might even go down because they'll realize Thailand is still fighting the war against drugs. Most people won't go from a drug which is suppose to chill them out to one that hypes them up.
  9. Making me like them even more.
  10. Personally, I doubt that an Air Chief Marshal (aka General or Admiral) has much influence with the Police Commission. In fact the police tend to resent any meddling done by any of the Thai military organizations.
  11. Kind of reminds me of 2011. Elected a new Pheu Thai government, everybody too busy getting there blessings (or hopeful blessings) laid upon them, kissing the feet, etc. No one does there job and pays attention to the height of water in the reservoirs. I hope all of a sudden we don't get hit with 3 (or more) typhoons coming across Vietnam and Laos/Cambodia in the next 2 months.
  12. No telling when the photo was taken. Could have been in Northern Japan last year... You track it down for us.
  13. Excellent move. In the next 10-20 years when the EV owner (average income) needs to trade in the car and/or buy a new battery, they'll be looking for an ICE vehicle to replace it. EV are also not that 'environmental'. After all, they require electricity and the solar and wind generated systems will not meet the demand. For the consumers of much greater than average income, they'll have one EV and one ICE (as a backup or for long distance). Not everyone can have an advance team to drive ahead and reserve the charging station with an ICE vehicle.
  14. @Sheryl Sheryl, is there a contact there whom you recommend?
  15. I have to say, after watching the video and seeing the interior of the car, it's a nice package. Maybe 'climbing' out wouldn't be so bad. Good luck with your purchase. Driving on Thailand's roads brings about a new awareness and appreciation of the traffic police in the UK and USA. (Motorcycles can be more closely associated with swarming flies. They come out and around from everywhere. And the solid, do not pass, line on the highway means nothing to many drivers, especially hotshot delivery drivers). Good luck.
  16. ???????? Gee, I'm only 172 cm (aka 5' 7-3/4"), 231 lbs and just 70 years old, but I've thought the same since I was 55 and only 192 lbs. Any vehicle that I would own needs to be at least 7.8" off the ground. The Yaris Cross is only 6.7" (170mm). That makes a big difference on the knee strain.
  17. Socialism and a breakdown of morality.
  18. Never heard of a TE visa. So, I guess I can't comment, course, I didn't have an answer one way or another. ????
  19. Gee, golly, gosh... Someone wet all over my leg.
  20. I am the only one who has signed the copy of my US marriage certificate (the original is needed to show to the clerk). I have carried one that the wife has signed, just in case, but have never used it.
  21. My last TM30 was in 2019. I've had a new Visa from Savannakhet or Cambodia every 5 to 17 months since that time except the COVID year+. I've even gotten a new passport. I removed the receipt from the old passport and stapled it into the new one in 2021. Never been questioned. (but prior to 2019 I was submitting one every time I stayed away from the house). (Pathum Thani Immigration)
  22. Here we go again... The dust hasn't settled from the BS during the 'forming' of the new government and Pheu Thai is already amending...
  23. We think the same on this. I had a flu shot 'many' (30+) years ago and it made me sick. I've not taken one since. (I got 3 shots of mRNA-based COVID-19 alleged vaccine and won't bother with those anymore either).
  24. The earth turned and my daily news is complete. (oh wait, I've one more article about a teacher and sexual assault)
  25. Over to the left, she would have seen some very nice 'hinges'. She would have only needed to pop the cap off the ends with the pliers (and hammer) and then use a slim screwdriver to force the pins out of each hinge. Someone on the other side would (probably) need to push the door open.
