  1. She's got a tattoo with a name across the chest. ????
  2. @djayz Are you trying to find one to sit on your desk to hold your business cards, one for you to carry with your business cards or something to hold all the business cards that you receive from sales and services people?
  3. Nah, Richard, I think he got cheap charlie with the girlfriend and she outed him... Don't ya know?
  4. I can't believe it's even a question... It is Paweensuda Drouin hands down or pick them up and clap. (and, yes, I understood the question/subject.)
  5. The US is in Germany primarily as part of NATO... However, Russia did not leave Germany until after 1989ish and were still an occupying force.
  6. As a whole, Thai's are not good drivers. Some do take driving courses, which actually teaches them rules/laws, best practices and courtesy, but for the most part it's from walking, to a motorbike and then to a P/U truck or car, then they graduate to the bus and trucks. There will be very little training and the poor practices from the motorbike stay with them. Sadly, many foreigners come here and think they can drive like a Thai person. Some have only limited motorbike experience, but rent one and 'go to town' and out for an adventure. I've had more accidents then my wife, and IMO i'm not a bad driver... Then, I like to sit in the back when she drives and close my eyes. ???????? (otherwise, it drives me crazy)
  7. I almost lost my breakfast. On topic... Best one so far IMO: Lavish Lester.
  8. CNN has had much good news coverage (or truth) since Baby Jessica fell down a well 35 years ago outside Midland TX.
  9. Wish means I don't believe a word of it. Russia is much more likely to copy the weapons themselves just as the weapons in Afghanistan were mostly sent to China & Russia, sources say.
  10. I love women, but some of us are just meant to be alone and not develop relationships. I have tried it 3 times. 2 wives (one mid-western white & one Thai) and 1 'girlfriend' from Louisiana (suppose to stay friends, I fell, but never had sex, just my heart was hers, it broke????????). I think I'll not make those mistakes anymore... to old for that nonsense... unless she's got money (and I'm not shopping). ????????
  11. It's all vocal bluster from a guy whose gaming the system for 60 years.
  12. Yes, my farang neighbors here in Pathum Thani went to Nakhon Nayok to get theirs. It's much less crowded than any of the local ones.
  13. Always, possible, but it does say the fires are in the National park.
  14. So you like to be controlled... which do you prefer? Absolute monarchy, Communist, Dictatorship, Islamic, Maoist, Marxist or Oligarchy. Or maybe just plain ol' Totalitarian.
  15. @AlexzweinerThere was a case 2020 in which a man sued his girlfriend in Buriram for half the house and car, which he had purchased when they lived together. It established 100% the 'common law' marriage of Thai and foreigner couples. He got the car. I've posted a link here: https://scandasia.com/danish-man-wins-lawsuit-against-thai-wife-for-not-sharing-assets/ Best wishes
  16. I guess (I) we live in a better part of the Province. I think it's pretty nice in Lat Sawai. I just wished they'd have brought the Light Green Sukhumvit line all the way to Klong 5 instead of stopping just past Klong 2 in Khu Khot.
  17. Doc, you are correct... BritTim: My son dropped out of Mattayom 5 (aka 11th grade) at 16. He entered Mahidol University the next Fall and continues his education and life there & here. @Siamesepiggster Best wishes for you. I've luckily had the wife to help navigate the education system. The VISA and extensions she was not so good with. Thankfully we've got @ubonjoe and... DrJack54. This used to be ThaiVisa with emphasis in that regard. It was great to see such a helpful question and informed answer.
  18. From what I read (many moons ago when this 'event' was in the news) this sounds more like a cover up.
  19. Let me see??? An article in a mostly foreigner read online forum about Thai politics telling us to remember that Prawit was by Prayut's side the whole way. Ok, I won't forget, but then I don't vote either. My daughter has a handy saying on her facebook page, "Don't bitch without a pitch". It's none of my business so I'm not going to bitch. I've learned to work with what I've got to deal with.
  20. How do you play "Phai Pok"? My internet search on google didn't find any reference to this game name except in this AN 'post'. Does anyone know?
  21. Such an intelligent response and then you punted it with this... A completely idiotic comment.
  22. Key ingredient here. So much of the fact checking is politically influenced and has very little to do with the actual facts. Many things are taken out of context or they'll find a word or two or a phrase that they can dispute and then claim the whole info is false.
  23. Easy to misread or misinterpret the headline. A fire in the hotel's kitchen caused an injury to a Russian woman. I stuck room into my initial reading of the headline and article, too.
  24. Yup, turn boys into girls, girls into boys, pay people to stay home, left $7,000,000,000 worth of military equipment in Afghanistan, pulled out without telling the allies, left Americans there, doing nothing for 2 weeks for the people in East Palestine, Ohio after the train derailment, +8% inflation, higher interest rates, higher energy cost, etc.... Yup, keep up the good job, Joe.
