just curious, what are you doing that requires 128GB DDR5 RAM? or is it just an overkill build?

firstly most shops will build your PC when buying all parts from them you can buy keys online quick and easy for $2 (he does not need a bunch of keys ready, but here it is likely just pirate/cracked) without knowing exact models That PC is worth less than 10,500 cpu 3265 - 3550 (really bad value for what is on the market) MB - 1800 (1610 lowest) RAM - 1290 HDD - 2172 (would have been better just buying 2TB SSD for 4610 imo or 1TB SSD and increase when needed) SSD - 840 PSU - 400 (Dtech is cheap) Case - 610 USB wifi - 50 that is just taking prices from advice not even shopping around not a great buy at all, this is a low end OLD machine would have been much better to spend a little extra and buy current generation that will not need updating so quickly if was myself i would go for something more like this: cpu Ryzen 5 7500F for 6180 or latest Ryzen 5 8600G for 8740 MB - 2610 RAM - 1542 for 16GB DDDR5 (8GB likely fine as DDDR5) HDD - none SSD - 2275 for 1TB NVME (additional slot on MB to add more later) PSU - 1190 80+ aerocool Case - 600 wifi - 50 total = 14447 or 17007 with latest CPU that only just hit the market while it is good to let others build if you do not like or know how to do yourself it is not good to let others decide on the parts for your build.

firefighters were there very quickly, otherwise it could have been much worse didn't read rest of article after reading "fire" numerous times EV's do catch fire, that is a fact, Thailand as usual may be slow to catch up with the rest of the world lol there is no magic line that prevents them from catching fire here just the fact they are not as common here is why it is seen less or not yet.

i literally posted an ASEANNow link, you can find it easily as for error 1010 that can be down to YOUR setup "A firewall, proxy, a browser plugin or extension may be throwing a false positive. Try visiting the site with a different browser as an alternative way of accessing the site." you can also find the article on Thaiger but just keep deluding yourself and pretend reality is not real.

Legal Strategies to Reduce Thai Tax

How much are you allowed to gift the Thai wife each year? what is the tax threshold for a child's allowance/income? -
where was i arguing over who conducts the auction? i simply said "they" (referring to whoever does conduct the auction) you have put RTP watch auctions in quotes please do point out where i myself typed that you do know how quotes work right? as for watches "they" auctioned them (they being any gov department, petty detail does not matter, all gov employees) https://timeandtidewatches.com/thai-customs-admits-selling-fake-luxury-watches-in-auction-including-pieces-from-rolex-patek-philippe-and-richard-mille/

no green book is not proof of scam, as in take money and run, if that was the scam they would have much more success providing a fake scan of fake green book etc many bikes are sold here without the green book, not a scam, just how it is. many are not stolen too, i have a bike that does not have a green book, simply due to being misplaced over the years and never being needed as the bike never makes it outside the village if it ever makes it off our land. All that said, i wouldn't, just not worth the possible head ache, unless buying for parts or to only use on your own land.

what is scary is seeing shows like upload, where they have digital heavens, and realising we already have the tech to fake such a service

might be worth first deciding how you will live to try and minimize any medical needs then decide what you would be willing to live and what you would want treatment for then price up the cost to fly elsewhere for certain treatments compared to here. If you have pre-existing conditions that will void most insurance claims you may need quite a bit put aside to be treated here.

check in as you normally would then just go chill in whichever VIP lounge your ticket permits be aware your lounge may still be quite a distance from your gate. not here, but other airports/countries i have turned up the night before my early flight no problem go to lounge enjoy an evening buffet, with open bar (i don't drink tho) then have shower, go to sleep on a nice comfy recliner in quiet corner, wake up, buffet breakfast, shower, then go to gate if flying biz or first class, you can avoid any stress by arriving early and waiting comfortably Tip: many do not realise you can buy fast track and lounge access at most airports regardless of ticket and usually not too much, like $30-50

Expat Investment Advisors
patman30 replied to wordchild's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
if you have to ask someone, you are already taking too much risk. An investment advisor is like paying someone to choose what number to place your chips on. -
why would you need US ph# to get text from a Thai bank? or are you asking if one number can do both? diff country but just for reference i use a Thai number to receive 2FA text and calls from my UK bank no issue most finance companies allow this as it is very normal for people to travel and this is usually when blocks are put on cards

Unprecedented Heatwave Spurs High Power Demand in Thailand
patman30 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
right now, it would make zero sense for myself to buy any car but that said, the best thing for an EV for a solar owner is using the EV as extra storage for the house but still makes no financial sense, as batteries are much cheaper and i already have a car -

yes you should calculate typical usage etc but i will be honest, it is better to forget ROI if using batteries or for off grid system at least for lithium anyway There is no guarantee they will last as long as stated, only time will tell The best ROI is on grid systems for places that use electricity during the day as you can literally max out your investment problems off grid, bad days hit you hard if you continue to use your typical load you calculated for so you have to plan for bad days which means go above your needs and spending more then you have issues with when just some days you need more juice than others and on very good days you may use power just to stop it going to waste where as if you were paying for grid power, you may not have used power you don't need plus many people waste grid power, not worrying about the bill till it arrives so calculating can be extremely difficult to get right for off grid or SOC system -

i am totally OFF Grid (not low or zero bills, actually off grid) typical day, we have an aircon in the electric room running 24/7 at 28C and at least one other aircon running in the house on really good days we turn them all on which we have total 6 i have aircon running most of the day in my office and i have currently 5 computers running 24/7 2 are pulling 180-320w 1 180-480w and 2 small rigs pull about 50-80w each plus 2 monitors (i had 11 computers running till last month) then add on top chest freezers and fridge and oven and kettle etc and charging of Milwaukee batteries often note: with exception of my dogs room all aircons are the higher end more efficient aircons, they cost like double price to buy but power saving is huge i do not drive an EV, as it would make zero sense for myself to purchase one.
