  1. RIP but I always figure people who drive motorbikes at speed like this are only on borrowed time in any case so if it didn't happen yesterday wouldn't have to wait much longer for the same result, luckily they only took themselves out with this one.
  2. Advertised today on Kaidee tomorrow a Dragon Tiger gambling table, three surveillance cameras and hundreds of playing chips and cards. Where the 68,080 baht in cash went I will leave up to the AN detectives
  3. Russian television host Vladimir Solovyov claimed in a sensational broadcast that Putin could use nuclear weapons 'wisely' on French and British troops deployed to Ukraine. ** From a reputable UK news outlet, where would the USA stand then? (provide Putin with more)
  4. Absolutely and wait until the likes of the EU start hitting back at the big tech giants, there is more money to be made on tariffs there than there is off the penguins
  5. Hahaha yes you got me on that one I have been told I am not the most sane person on the planet so possibly peas from the same pod, now I am in a full conversation with you 🤣
  6. I am genuinely embarrassed to be British this morning after seeing that, I want to get hold of him for 10 minutes and let him try the same on me. Attacking Thai people who are our hosts in this country should just not be tolerated obviously there will always be disagreements between foreigners and locals but this scenario looks like the farang kicked everything off, then the most despicable thing pushing the family off the motorbike even with the lady holding a small baby she looked terrified rightly so. This is one of the scenarios where a gang beating would have been well deserved and made me happy. I hope they throw the book at him and he gets a lengthy blacklist from the county after serving a bit of time in the monkey house and not allowed to buy his way out of it, we do not need his type here. P
  7. Isn't this contradictory in itself?
  8. He should be serving this term in the monkey house
  9. @GammaGlobulin you do realise you are talking to yourself? One of the many first signs of madness buddy
  10. The topic is "Are U.S. expats shielded from the massive Trump Tariff Tax Raise on Americans?" The answer is NO the goods you buy will increase in price once Thailand increases it's tariff's if this is where you are living and order to be delivered to, so the American companies will increase the prices dependent on where they are delivering to which will be passed on to the customer purchasing probably dependent on the Tariffs of that country so Americans are not shielded it would be the same as a Thai person in Thailand buying something from America. Going to be an administrative nightmare!!!! If you are living in the US and buying US stuff then wouldn't impact you obviously apart from domestic taxation. I'm going to live with the penguins and catch my own fish. Does that answer the question?
  11. For anyone that doubts this is one of the most stupid political moves since the great depression, look at the device you are using now to access this Forum. Research yourself or let me know and I will tell you where it was manufactured and I highly doubt many will come back with the US! If any do it wouldn't operate without Asian manufactured parts!
  12. Yeah fair point before buying one I would be watching forums like xda developers where there are some clever guys that know how to tear phones down and de compile the software, hopefully any major privacy/security issues if they did release that phone at that spec and price would be identified fairly quick.
  13. Just to labour my point pick the company you want and read the below: global manufacturing, especially in Asia, often blurs the lines between brand-name products and their unbranded or rebranded counterparts. Many OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in China, Taiwan, and elsewhere produce goods for major U.S. and European brands, then turn around and sell nearly identical products (often from the same molds or tooling) under lesser-known or local brands at a fraction of the price. Here are some clear examples where this has happened or is still happening: 🔧 Tool Industry Craftsman / Stanley Black & Decker Craftsman tools (owned by Stanley Black & Decker) are now often made in China or Taiwan. Many items are identical to those sold under local brands like WorkPro, Deko, or Tacklife, which are significantly cheaper on platforms like AliExpress or Lazada. Harbor Freight (Pittsburgh, Bauer, Hercules) While marketed as budget tools, many are rebranded versions of tools made by the same Chinese factories that make products for DeWalt, Makita, or Milwaukee. Reddit and YouTube teardown comparisons often reveal that Bauer or Hercules tools from Harbor Freight are near-identical internally to name-brand versions. 📺 Consumer Electronics Apple / Foxconn Foxconn manufactures Apple devices but also produces nearly identical tech for Xiaomi, Oppo, and other brands that sell at a fraction of Apple’s price in Asian markets. Some internal components (like batteries, displays, or connectors) come from the same supply chain. Beats by Dre Manufactured by contract manufacturers in China — some teardown videos have shown striking similarities between Beats internals and much cheaper headphones sold under Chinese brands. 🖥️ Computer Peripherals Logitech Logitech mice and keyboards are often OEMed from Chinese companies like Rapoo or A4Tech. Some cheaper brands like Redragon or Fantech sell products with almost identical shell molds and specs at a third of the price. 🛠️ Automotive Parts ACDelco, Bosch, Denso Many of their parts are manufactured in China or Thailand and resold by local suppliers in Asia under different names — sometimes even with the same part numbers. It’s common to find a $200 Bosch fuel pump in the U.S. that matches a $40 unbranded pump on Taobao. 🚲 Outdoor and Sports Gear Trek / Giant Giant manufactures bikes for Trek and many other global brands, then sells their own bikes (with similar frames/components) under the Giant label for less. Why It Happens: MOQs and tooling are expensive — once a factory builds the setup for a brand, it's economical to keep using it for other clients or in-house labels. IP protection in Asia is a gray area. Factories may be under loose NDAs but still "tweak and rebrand" the same product. Western brands mark up for marketing, warranty, and distribution — but the factory price difference is minimal.
  14. The US is naive if they think the same factories making all these products for a supposed US company isn't rebranding them and selling them at 1/4 of the price through Asian markets
  15. You called Donald Trump a tool not me there! Some tools, especially certain power tools and accessories, are outsourced or manufactured abroad, including in: China Italy Spain United Kingdom
  16. I don't see much point in ordering anything from Europe or America when the prices are massively cheaper buying the same products from China. Lazada is your friend. Anything America can manufacture the Chinese probably make it better and cheaper.
  17. I was on Penguin Social earlier and apparently the head penguin is not too worried about things, the head penguin is not quite sure what they export from Heard and McDonald Islands to get a 10% tariff but I am lead to believe there have been large protests on the island the last couple of days, even the seals are coming together with them as one to fight these new tariffs. The only questions I can see them asking on Penguin Social is who is Donald Trump? and Where is America? and ..... "I need fish"
  18. Yep it is American citizens that are going to foot the bill for this everything is going to be a lot more expensive to buy, that's the reason there was a trade deficit in the first place you go to the right places to buy the right things at the right price. and sell them to your citizens at the right price to avoid inflation and recessions, good luck America
  19. I think that actually makes him look more like a real politician rather than a comedian.
  20. It's quite simple from now on everything that American people buy in the US manufactured in another country (which is a lot) is going to be exorbitantly more expensive - that's winning! It is the American people that the prices are going to be passed onto, may impact other countries exporting I agree but given the scale the US has done this they are going to be the major loser. Does your average American look at where everything is made when they buy it in a shop if they do then they can give themselves a warm fuzzy feeling knowing they are buying American when everyone else in the world is going to increase Tariffs to the US and push to not buy American, also once the reciprocal tariffs start hitting the US all these 'top' US manufacturers are not going to be able to export especially in the tech area, which is supposedly the jewel in Americas crown, time for all other countries other than the US to shine and the US to welcome a new great depression, can anyone see the obvious flaw to Orange Face's plan?
  21. The Pi Phone would be nice and I would definitely buy one if they ran on the current presumptive spec.s and prices etc could buy 6 for the price of an iPhone! However I think it is all just Pi in the sky at the moment and nothing official from anyone just a bunch of speculation currently.
  22. Yep I have never seen water guns that expensive
  23. Yep the guy has definitely got a screw loose
  24. Taking a lead out of Trumps Tariff book
