What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2025)
brewsterbudgen replied to Rimmer's topic in Entertainment
You're not the only to think that, yet it's had the highest ratings of all 3 seasons. Personally, I love it and can hardly contain myself to find out how it will end. I still think Season 1 was better, but this Season beats 2 which I was a little disappointed with. -
Russell Brand criminally charged with rape...
brewsterbudgen replied to FriscoKid's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I'm no fan of Mr Brand, but I agree; 20 years is a long time and no one can claim to have perfect memories. I suspect that like Kevin Spacey, he will get off even if it comes to trial, which I doubt. -
Musically - Is this as good as it gets?

I know my facts. Hope this helps: Before September 10, 2018: If you renewed your passport before the old one expired, the unexpired time (up to 9 months) would be added to the new passport's validity. After September 10, 2018: This practice ended, and passports issued after this date are valid for exactly 10 years. Why the change? This change aligned the UK with other countries, which generally issue passports with a maximum validity of 10 years. Impact on travel to the EU: Since the UK left the EU, British passports issued more than 10 years before travel to EU countries (except Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein and Switzerland) are no longer valid.

No. It was an inspection of Walking Street (not Pattaya) and they found no evidence of prostitution on that night, which was not surprising as all the street hookers had vanished. Not that WS is popular for soliciting anyway, unlike Beach Road. The gogos and beer bars on Walking Street are not breaking any prostitution laws.

I agree. While Season 3 has been a slow burner, I can't wait for Sunday's 90-minute finale! -
Good question. Assuming that people who have not completed it are still allowed to board the flight at the point of departure, I would guess they will have to complete it in the arrivals area, just like they would have had to have done with the paper TM6. Or maybe, during the flight, cabin crew will go around checking that everyone has completed one and help those who have not (like they did with the paper TM6 cards)?

The King is very much a multi-faith King, as was made clear at his Coronation. The UK is a multi-cultural country and has a multi-faith population. Personally, I couldn't care less about having a King and favour a republic, but as Kings go, I'm happy with Charles.

He had been wound up by online 'incel' videos (Andrew Tate is name-checked) and when rebuffed and mocked by the victim, he stabbed her. -

I'd be very surprised if the 'story' continues. Personally, I hope they leave it. The story was not the point of the series. -
Parental consent form for Thai wife
brewsterbudgen replied to KruAlastair's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
Does anyone have a sample letter from a parent giving permission for the other parent to take their child overseas for a holiday (in English)? I'm sure I've seen one on here, but can't find it. Thanks.
