  1. Many Immigration forms have (or used to have) a box for 'TM6 number'. Since the TM6 was stopped, we just left the box blank. Once the TDAC is running, will we need to provide the number again?
  2. Thanks for the replies. I went to a DTAC shop and they checked that my name matched my phone number, but didn't ask to see my passport.
  3. Get the counter-signatory to email you a photo of his passport ID page and just print it out. It worked fine for me.
  4. Another American bashing thread? 🤔
  5. The link works, but the application has to be completed on paper in pen; it's not online. You have to submit it in person (or via an agent) with the copies (every page of your expiring passport) and supporting documents. The email is to make an appointment to submit the application.
  6. The BBC is run by Tories, so that's obviously not the case! How many times has Reform had a panelist, and yet the Workers Party is rarely (ever?) represented.
  7. What if you have a serious car/motorbike/pedestrian accident, or fall down some stairs/slip in the shower?
  8. Correct. Although they are supposed to check the documentation before forwarding it to the UK. I'd like to think that if they compare the new photo with the old passport photo and it has significantly changed they will tell the applicant, before sending everything off.
  9. My question is in the title. Larger 7-11s usually stock them, but I haven't found any so far. Where is the biggest, most well-stocked 7-11 in Pattaya?
  10. Not the correct way, as you shouldn't be in Thailand without a passport. It currently takes less than 6 weeks to renew the correct way, so no time advantage and a lot more risk, doing it online!
  11. Why is everyone, all over the internet, creating plastic dolls? I don't get it.
  12. I hadn't thought about that. I just renewed by son's passport which is valid until January 2030. He'll be 15 when we renew it. Presumably he just gets another 5-year passport!
  13. I keep getting SMS messages from DTAC about registering my SIM number with my bank account, before 30 April 2025, in order to comply with AMLO regulations. I have had the same Thai bank account and the same SIM for 15+ years. Do I really need to do this?
  14. HMPO advice: You must get your paper form and one of your 2 print photos counter-signed if you’re applying for a: first adult passport first child passport replacement for a lost, stolen or damaged passport renewal of a passport for a child aged 11 or under renewal of a passport if your appearance has changed and you cannot be recognised from your existing passport
  15. The British Embassy can issue Emergency passports, for immediate travel, but that's it. HMPO is UK based.
  16. The "British Broadcasting Conservatives". A case in point is Question Time. It used to be a good balanced watch with David Dimbleby but the awful Fiona Bruce continually interrupts everyone except Tories and Reform panellists.
  17. While UK passport holders are recommended, you can use professional non-UK citizens to countersign your photos. You'll need to provide their passport details and contact information and it may mean that the renewal process takes longer. Alternatively, why not use an agent, as I'm sure they can facilitate this for you.
  18. And how is your personal choice relevant to this topic? 🤔
  19. Looks like a normal day, especially the day after a public holiday.
  20. You're not the only to think that, yet it's had the highest ratings of all 3 seasons. Personally, I love it and can hardly contain myself to find out how it will end. I still think Season 1 was better, but this Season beats 2 which I was a little disappointed with.
  21. I'm no fan of Mr Brand, but I agree; 20 years is a long time and no one can claim to have perfect memories. I suspect that like Kevin Spacey, he will get off even if it comes to trial, which I doubt.
  22. I don't think the TDAC and TM30 are connected, so yes I suspect you will, if your Immigration office requires it.
