Putin: Nuclear risk is rising, but we are not mad
Bkk Brian replied to webfact's topic in World News
You have gone Batsh$t crazy though "I have already said and I want to repeat: Russia could be the only real guarantor of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine within its current borders." Yes he actually said that in his speech with reference to Poland possibly invading Ukraine in the future.........???? -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Bkk Brian replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
Oh we're into the covid topic now on the Ukraine war OP. Is it not notable that Russian Trolls were evident and documented in large numbers deliberately spreading covid misinformation on social media outlets when the pandemic was ongoing, then when Russia attacked Ukraine they went silent on covid and switched their onslaught to Russian propaganda? Look it up its all there. Requires a little critical thinking and not being led like sheep into the conspiracy theories. A poll in Austria found that most vaccinated Austrians believe Russia is responsible for the war in Ukraine, while the unvaccinated mostly blame the US and NATO. (google translate) Vaccination shy and loyal to Putin: the unvaccinated blame the USA for the Ukraine war https://www.profil.at/oesterreich/was-sagt-der-impfstatus-ueber-die-einstellung-zu-putin-aus/402085051 -

Trump Organization found guilty on multiple counts of criminal tax fraud
Bkk Brian replied to webfact's topic in World News
Nobody was named as a defendant, it was a case against the company. However one of those involved Allen Weisselberg, who for decades was one of Donald Trump's most trusted and loyal employees as chief financial officer has already pleaded guilty in a separate case and did a plea deal for testifying in this case so he only gets a 5 month jail term. -
Trump Organization found guilty on multiple counts of criminal tax fraud
Bkk Brian replied to webfact's topic in World News
Exactly. I'm sure he just blurts out stuff without any research whatsoever. As we know Trump was not on trial here but his company was, we also know from court fillings that Trump personally wrote the cheques and sanctioned the fraud. This does not bode well for all the other cases and probes including tax that he has to face in the future: For Trump, tax fraud case just one of several legal problems https://apnews.com/article/new-york-manhattan-donald-trump-business-bde570517ca92b9028f487c2c0593e35 -
Prince Harry says 'it's a dirty game' in new Netflix trailer

*Deleted post edited out* I don't remember him being the perpetual victim before his mums death. Quite the oppostte actually. Notable you dismiss what the editors and press say themselves that they also share the blame. -

We're not talking about other people you were referring to Diana and Harry and him blaming the press. yes feeling guilty is what makes us human and not barbarians. Quote from the press themselves: "If the paparazzi hadn’t been following her the car wouldn’t have been speeding and, you know, the accident may never have happened." -

Ah, glad to see we are back on topic. Well done... ???? So no need for the press to feel guilty then! Fantastic, vindicated Princess Diana: Editors admit guilt over death The editors of the three biggest selling tabloid newspapers at the time of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales have disclosed for the first time their own share of guilt over the accident that killed her. The editors of The Sun, Daily Mirror and News of the World have conceded that they had helped create an atmosphere in which the paparazzi, who were chasing Diana when her car crashed in a Paris underpass, were out of control. "If the paparazzi hadn’t been following her the car wouldn’t have been speeding and, you know, the accident may never have happened." https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1560857/Princess-Diana-Editors-admit-guilt-over-death.html -

Harry had every right to blame the Paparazzi, had they not been chasing her her death may not have happened, the official cause of death is something else when emotions are involved. Why don't you stay on topic? -

I'm sure that helped free any feelings of guilt the mob of paparazzi motorcyclists who were chasing her, opened the Mercedes to see her still alive and failed to do anything other than clamber all over the car taking pictures. -

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Bkk Brian replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
Another strike by Ukraine within Russian territory on an airfield. Keep it up, those drones are doing wonders, three in a row now Drone attack hits oil storage tank at airfield in Russia’s Kursk region A drone attack has set an oil storage tank on fire at an airfield in Kursk, the Russian region’s governor has said, a day after Ukraine appeared to launch audacious drone attacks on two military airfields deep inside Russian territory. Roman Starovoyt, the governor of the Kursk region bordering Ukraine, said on the Telegram messaging app there were no casualties from the attack and the fire was “localised”. Video footage posted on social media showed a large explosion lighting up the night sky followed by a substantial fire at the airfield 175 miles (280km) from the Ukrainian border, at daybreak a large column of black smoke was still visible above the site. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/dec/06/drone-attack-hits-oil-storage-tank-airfield-russia-kursk -
Trump calls for the termination of the Constitution in Truth Social post
Bkk Brian replied to Scott's topic in World News
But there really is no reason to keep rehashing the past. Another poster asked a question, I answered, and we had a genial exchange. No need to allow your T D S to keep you on the attack. No attack just a reasonable response that adds context to Trumps claims as highlighted in the article -

Great you covered most of it, here's one of the etc's.......... Trump was implying that he caused these low African-American and Hispanic unemployment rates. And a big problem with that claim is that those rates had been falling for long before Trump took office, and their declines don't appear to have picked up speed. This implies that there's nothing specific that Trump did to change this rate. https://www.npr.org/2018/01/08/576552028/fact-check-trump-touts-low-unemployment-rates-for-african-americans-hispanics -

"unless it was a deliberate action by ukrainians - even without knowledge of their president and military command" Stretching out the speculation there internationalism Where would you get that idea from I wonder, especially when the Ukraine military had already released this statement. Ukraine says missile parts that landed in Poland may have been Ukrainian In an interview Friday, he described an intense battle during which at least 50 missiles were flying through the air within a matter of minutes near the Polish border in western Ukraine, with at least 20 fired by Russia and 30 fired by Ukrainian air defenses as Russia launched its biggest attack yet on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. They were among a total of 96 missiles fired by Russia that day, 77 of which were shot down, he said. “Anything could be the result of this air defense battle,” he said, acknowledging that at least some of the missile parts could have been Ukrainian. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/11/18/ukraine-missile-poland-nato-russia/ -

A bit more background on the strikes in Russia Attacks on Russian air bases put spotlight on new Ukrainian drone program Explosions at two Russian air bases Monday have focused attention on Ukraine’s efforts to develop longer-range combat drones. The Russian Defense Ministry says the attacks were carried out by Ukrainian drones, which it claims were brought down by Russian air defenses. Imagery – both satellite and photographs – indicates some damage was done to Russian military planes at one base in Ryazan region. The two bases hit, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, are hundreds of miles inside Russian territory and beyond the reach of Ukraine’s declared arsenal of drones. No footage or images of the remnants of drones have been published. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/12/05/europe/ukraine-drone-russia-air-base-attacks-intl/index.html -

No big surprise the terrorists like to instill fear in their own too. Similar to the barbarian Wagner boss who said "Murderers and sex offenders are told they can become war heroes - or be executed for desertion" -

Its only accurate if it is ALL is forensically analysed. CBS did not do that they only made assumptions, read the thread. Washington Post also could not verify all of it, only a small portion. They did find tampering of the data had been evidenced before it even reached the FBI. You are wrong to state that there's no evidence that it had been altered in any way. A review of hard drive by The Washington Post - March 30, 2022 The vast majority of the data — and most of the nearly 129,000 emails it contained — could not be verified by either of the two security experts who reviewed the data for The Post. The experts found the data had been repeatedly accessed and copied by people other than Hunter Biden over nearly three years. (Before possession by the FBI) Most of the data obtained by The Post lacks cryptographic features that would help experts make a reliable determination of authenticity The Post’s review of these emails found that most were routine communications that provided little new insight into Hunter Biden’s work for the company. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/03/30/hunter-biden-laptop-data-examined/ The media followed their own policies at the time which clearly did not allow them to publish or link to any data from the laptop. https://web.archive.org/web/20190717143909/https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/hacked-materials https://web.archive.org/web/20190625224627/https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/personal-information Even the so called Twitter files that Musk released confirmed there was no evidence of government collusion to suppress the laptop story: “no evidence” of “any government involvement in the laptop story.” Taibbi found that federal law enforcement had contacted Twitter months before the New York Post article with a “general” warning about “possible foreign hacks,” When NBC tried to report on the story: "Most mainstream news organizations, including NBC News, have not been granted access to the documents. NBC News asked by email, text, phone call and certified mail, and was ultimately denied." Some emails that the Washington Post were able to verify are quite interesting though regarding Tucker Carlson's relationship with Hunter. Favours for the boys. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/05/19/look-time-tucker-carlson-asked-hunter-biden-favor/ many questions remain about how the materials got into the hands of Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who has met with Russian agents in his effort to dig dirt on the Bidens. U.S. intelligence agencies have informed the White House that Giuliani has been in contact with alleged Russian intelligence agents. The FBI has been looking into whether the Russians played any role, and no official has ruled that out. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/here-s-what-happened-when-nbc-news-tried-report-alleged-n1245533
