  2. Good point, not just the US, but do US citizens and foreigners pay the same price for the food?
  3. I believe you are correct. "Pretty sure it is not enforced but it is actually the law." Most laws aren't enforced in Thailand? ????
  4. As another member has said, if you are staying in Thailand for an extended time, which it appears you are as you want to buy a motorcycle, then it would be best to get a Thai license.
  5. Sorry, you are correct, i assumed as immigration was closed the banks would be also.
  6. No you do not need a Thai Drivers license first. To actually buy it you will need the funds. You will also need a proof of address, where you live, in Thailand For that you need to go to immigration and obtain a Residence Certificate.
  7. Don't give them ideas! ????
  8. I believe the banks in Thailand will not be open until Monday 18th, so expect it then!
  9. Quite right. the problem is "çorruption" is endemic, however its not just in Thailand.

  11. Answer the call, don't recognize the caller or its in Thai, block it and report it!
  12. As is Biden Himself. Overall approval rating now at 30% "Biden’s 30% overall approval was far below the 39% that Civiqs registered in 2017 as President Donald Trump’s lowest-ever number — and not even in shouting distance of the 44% approval rating Trump notched at the same point in his presidency." https://civiqs.com/results/approve_president_biden?annotations=true&uncertainty=true&zoomIn=true
  13. Staple holes aren't a a problem, I have had stamps over staple holes. Six pages left, depends how much you travel? If its only once a year......?
  14. You are correct about a car, but its not the tires that save you, its a misconception. it’s the car’s metal cage that protects the occupants, not the tires. Cars are safe from lightning because of the metal cage surrounding the people inside the vehicle. This may sound counter-intuitive because metal is a good conductor of electricity, but the metal cage of a car directs the lightning charge around the vehicle occupants and safely into the ground. The car essentially becomes a Faraday cage and protects anyone inside.
  15. "The chief promised justice for all." Well there's a contradiction in terms! ????
  16. As always the Government don't think before they speak. Nobody wants this dual pricing, the tourists obviously don't, the Hotels don't. Its a PR disaster, its now in the international press. High season is almost round the corner and they pull this stunt, unbelievable!
  17. Wait till the Chinese come back. ????
  18. Will these projects be finished before high season hits this year?
