This is true but said opinions IMHO should be supported and discussed in an adult manner. -

It's ok. We're all different. Thing is we're adults but sometimes it sure doesn't seem that way with some members on here. Some of course are simply nasty rsholes that troll and never answer questions. Not you @MikeandDow. At least your willing to engage. There are a few on here that don't. Some never answer any challenging questions put to them and are just simply toxic. Not often I use emojis. Shame really. Guess this forum is a bit of a reflection of the expat community a few of which I'm very glad I don't know.. -
The way Ireland is same as the UK is I reckon the blokes in with a good chance. I said after Trump got in the radical woke left dominoes will start tumbling. Let's see if I was right. Quite amazing how the left which was once about supporting and protecting the working class has abandoned and pushed those very people to the right. Maybe this is all by design.

Nightmare in Kursk: Ukrainian Troops Recount Devastating Retreat
dinsdale replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Another gem of a post. You do understand that war crimes can also happen on the battlefield? This is war mate. Both sides are out to kill each other and are after victory whatever it takes. If that means for example dropping poisonous gas into the trenches of either side then so be it. It's happening. Both Ukrainian and Russian drones operators are doing this. HELLO! Reality mate. -

As I said splitting hairs. But thank you for educating me. Certainly adds to my years of studying political theory/philosophy at uni. -

Same everywhere. The leader of winning party becomes PM only here the rules changed and Junta planted Senate got to vote. People vote for their local candidates in the party they support which has a leader of the party which if the party wins becomes PM. There has as far as I know never been an example of this not happening in a democratic election. -
PM Paetongtarn Angrily Denies Alleged Family "Country Deal"
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yep. His party was democratically elected by the people with Pita as it's leader. People voted for Pita to be PM. No point splitting hairs over this. The people voted for Pita for PM. The corrupt forces of the military elitist establishment by way of their corrupt judicial arms the CC and the EC denied the will of the people banning Pita and dissolving his party. The current "government" has zero mandate. -
Ok. So just how long would the backup last for? What exactly is a limited time? Pity you didn't mention this detail as you seem very confident in your statement.

The worst restaurant experience of my life.
dinsdale replied to Robert_Smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Is it just me or is anyone else concerned about "Bob's" metal health state. From his continuous posts about this that and the other many of which seem to be not entirely true, got taxi because no phone to get a Grab, taxi no seatbelt in the back, took picture of this being a standout. I do wonder. Being an expat can definitely have a significant negative affect on some people's mental state. Hope you're ok Bob. Really mate this isn't the place (AN) to be seeking attention. -

Blackchin talapia. What does black gill disease otherwise known as shrimp disease have to do with anything. BTW when you cut and paste from the net you need to source it. -

All this because he wants to gut a bloated, ineffective federal dept. of senseless waste and send the responsibility of education back to the states. I just don't get the constant hate. I said a long time ago he could bring world peace and eliminate all poverty and disease globally and people like you would still find hatred.

PM Paetongtarn Balances Family Time Amidst Farmers' Outcry
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They're a predatory invasive African fish species out competing native species for resources and that breed at and incredible rate. CP are being blamed for the spread as they imported the species but deny responsibility for it's escape into the ecosystem. No need for this article to explain this as it's basically a fluff piece about how great Paetonhtarn is at being both the PM and a mother. -

Allow me to do a slight edit to this to bring it more in line with reality. The political tempest dwells on the premise that Paetongtarn might be is little more than a figurehead, manipulated by her father, the erstwhile leader of Pheu Thai, Thaksin Shinawatra. -

An inflammatory statement supported by absolutely nothing in the article. As for the guy he's simply an idiot and more than likely a full blown alcho (conjecture). -
