  1. I think it's objectively true that most restaurants that are even big enough to have staff take orders are not going to communicate much if it all when taking orders. Maybe in expensive restaurants in the city it's different but the norm is the girl walks up, says nothing and writes down what you say and maybe even says nothing and walks away. That's just how they are. I actually find it more annoying in America now where they the staff talks so much and comes to the table and asks questions. Honestly they're too trying to hard to be friendly. I guess I appreciate the effort but it gets annoying.
  2. I'm totally ok with it now but if I start comparing to how it works in America it's pretty awkward. Like you say take for what it is and move on.
  3. You can't expect too much they're simple people and they don't do communication like you would expect. Try to put it out your mind if you can.
  4. like you said because he wanted to look like a badass with a chain leash and clip their ears so they look menacing etc... In another world where pitfalls had normal owners MAYBE I could get being these things but as it is the combination and genetically aggressive dog and douchebag tough guy means these things should be banned.
  5. Damn. I never saw that myself but the US is a big country so anything could happen. That guy looks like he knows better. I bet it was his wives idea. "Oh a pittie they're so misunderstood" etc...
  6. also stupid white college girls, wiggers and homeless kids. Never saw a normal middle class American with one of those dogs.
  7. Indeed, "experts say", a classic move straight out of the American playbook.
  8. Wonderful my two favorite people tourists and taxi drivers taking a beating.
  9. Probably driving on the wrong side of the road around curves, going too fast, overtaking, undertaking etc... another totally avoidable incident and of course nothing will be learned as usual.
  10. I'm in America now for another week. When I arrived at the airport a taxi picks me up and the driver is from Kenya (haven't seen a white taxi driver in years and this is Colorado!). We get to talking and I ask about his visa, his reply "I am citizen". Apparently been here 20 years. Goes on to talk about his love for the motherland. Go figure. It's 2024. Being an American means absolutely nothing anymore. Literally anyone from anywhere in the world for any reason can come here and get citizenship. Just imagine if these millions of immigrants from all over the world get passports and start traveling.
  11. I appreciate the Thais old-timey blood and soil nationalism. So many people in our countries don't even care they're becoming a minority in city after city and in fact celebrate the "diversity". Civilizational losers with no future. Meanwhile the Thais actually care about surviving and thriving so I support them 100%.
  12. where is the original video? I must have missed it.
  13. Sorry I missed it and it and it just popped up on YouTube. The comments were the important part anyways. Warms the heart to know the Thais are against the Chinese too. 😂
  14. I'd say a good service then but maybe it's time to consider moving too.
  15. I'd say so. I'm particularly afraid of Basketball Americans when they get angry driving. Even though Thais are more dangerous they will very rarely exit their car to start fights. There's entire road rage channels on YouTube with nothing but fights breaking out over driving which is commonplace in Thailand.
  16. Apparently the Chinese woman bumps into the man with his Thai wife and the man isn't backing down so an altercation ensues. Classy folks. The interesting part are the comments. Look at the hate the Thais are bashing on the Chinese. 😂 To be fair they're sick on foreigners in Phuket in general too though. Posting text because apparently you can't paste images directly anymore without a link??? Not a welcome change. Chinese tourists I met Eating in a restaurant, talking very loudly, no manners at all. China likes to bump into people without apologizing. Does China really know how to apologize? She really wants to apologize. Have you ever seen me drive? A group of Chinese people filled the street, honking their horns, and women avoided them. But men don't know why. We had to deviate into the opposite lane. Good thing there aren't any cars in the park. I've encountered many cases. Out of three Chinese people, only one person has manners. But in this case, we don't know the facts. You have to listen to the other side first. Listen to the news... Sorry, I want to be on a foreign team (not Chinese). Guessing from experience, it's probably the Chinese who walk around and don't care about anyone or stand in the way and don't care about anyone. After that, let's guess.
  17. The treasury department you don't say? This is almost certainly B.S. but it's going to take too much time to figure out why and I don't care enough (probably one of their indexes is deceptive like the CPI). They control the money supply and they're responsible for creating so much currency so they have a vested interest in lying about their performance. Also it's reported by NBC, corporate, regime controlled media. Lying to Americans in advance of the next election to bolster their interests. You know this is garbage information but who has the time to debunk it.
  18. If I had a quarter for every "... is going to be underwater" story I've heard over the last 30 years I'd be rich!
  19. Ann Coulter is great. She said she wouldn't vote for Vivek because he was an Indian. I like Vivek quite a lot but not enough Americans understand ethnic solidarity in a country where they're going to become a minority.
  20. This is my greatest fear driving in Thailand. They pass so close I'm shocked I don't see this happen everyday.
  21. I'd rather get COVID than be exposed to hordes of Chinese pushing and shouting. They could so easily destroy cities like Chiang Mai and obliterate the property market in a few years like they did in Vancouver and other cities around the world. Imagine the new 5 year visa and a train directly into CM. Game over if that happens.
  22. this is obvious and well documented. Please the person who gave the "confused face" reaction come forward and explain what's so confusing about this statement.
  23. A train from China going directly into Thailand is a nightmare. If it carries passengers it has the capacity to ruin entire cities. Horrifying stuff.
