"Met his counterparts"?
I didn't know Boris Johnson was a military man who seized his position undemocratically.

My Garmin GPS gives me the speed limit on some roads. Driving along Sukhumwit in Pattaya, it is 80 km / hr whilst once outside Pattaya it becomes 110 km / hr. If I turn off Sukhumwit (either direction) no limit is shown so I assume the limit is therefore 60 km / hr? I've been driving along Route 3 at around 100 km / hr when I notice that my Garmin is showing my speed in red as the speed limit has become 80 km / hr yet no sign to warn me that the limit has become lower.
Thailand really needs to adapt the system in the UK and put up proper speed limit signs on all roads so that everyone knows how fast they can drive legally.

Yes, but then the police wouldn't get any money. Lol.

Nothing? And who served them alcohol?
It's responsibility of a bar to stop serving alcohol to too-drunk customers !
Maybe that's what started the melee.

“If we consider the wind direction, we can see that from February to September, the wind blows towards the Southwest, carrying air pollution from the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Zone to Bangkok,” he said.
Blimey, he doesn't even know the direction to Bangkok from the Eastern Seaboard. He needs to look at a map. For pollution to come from there to Bangkok it would need to be heading more north west (or even NNW). But in meteorological terms it would be a south easterly wind (or even SSE) as wind direction is measured by where it's coming from. Besides, I've never noticed it being this bad before. Have all these power plants popped up in the last year?- 6

What gets me is that someone has to be told that riding against the flow of traffic is wrong. I think it just highlights the careless/stupid attitude toward one's own well being, but more importantly the disregard for another person's safety/life. Ho hum.

you were merely highlighting the fact that it was the most expensive plate, which it wasn't. but nevermind
Stop putting words in my mouth. I never said it was the most expensive. I said It was a fancy plate and wondered how much it cost the taxpayer.

one more thing. prove to me that 9's are more expensive than 5's because i don't believe that. but i will stand corrected if you show that
Look at the item I attached. The single 9 is priced at 230,000, whereas the single 5 is 195,000.

Fake news...or utter bullshit....both...!!
I think you’ll find you have to hand over 51%. I thought that it was us pesky foreigners that could only own 49%.

Fancy number plate on the mayor’s van. How much of taxpayers’ money was wasted on that?

I must say I got tired of telling cashiers in Big C etc., that I didn't mind if they put more than one item in each bag. I've started taking re-usable bags now.

There’s no such thing as Thainess. It’s all in their minds.

Police said the accident happened at 7:45am on the outbound Ploenchit expressway between the Din Daeng and Klong Toei exits.
If your going outbound then it's between the Klong Toei and Din Daeng exits as that's the order they are in, surely.

watch the video. not a single person does anything. no one is calling the police. watch the woman at the table go back to drinking and talking with her friends at the end.
multiple kicks to the head. attempted murder.
10 years in Thai prison.
next case.
The police probably wouldn't show up, hence the lethargy. I'm not condoning it, just saying.

I would have thought that when you purchase a watch of such expense the company you purchase it off would hold a record of the buyer along with the serial number of the watch.
Expect the reply of, "no have" if the vendor were asked.

you are aware that one of the largest green spaces in bangkok exists at the end of soi 10, the combination of benjakitti park and the new park on TTM grounds?
Yes, fully aware. Apologies though as I thought we were talking about Chuvit Park.

I've taken hundreds (maybe even housands) of taxis here over the past 12-13 years and have never had a single problem.
I have had drivers refuse to drive me to my destination for whatever reason but I can live with that. No harm done.
The only real complaint I have is that some drivers drive like Michael Schumacher and I have to tell them to slow down and drive carefully.
As usual, because of a few bad apples, the rest have to jump through hoops.
The second and third lines negate your first line.

Pathumwan is not KlongToey and who says that the Chuvit Park area is not (going to be) a clean air environment, maybe Pathumwan is trying to keep up with Klong Toey?
Could you point out where I said Pathumwan is Klong Toey?
I fail to see how a mall (or similar) will promote a more clean-air environment over a park.
