    It's not super common in the style of Thais, though. They'll go crazy over the mildest thing and end up killing someone, with zero provocation or escalation.

    As would be Biden and son if they were held to the same standard. Probably Hillary as well. They were let off while Trump was not due to being Trump. So the label "criminal" really means nothing.

    It's unfortunate that you cannot simply say that this person is wrong, and leave it at that. The fact that you feel the need to point out how things are much worse for trans people, makes it seem like your condemnation is somewhat insincere.

    Possibly he saw them but just ignored them. Thais often just sail through bollard, etc.. If they can get through, they'll go for it.

    Horrible. Expulsion and sentences for all involved. Thai people seems capable of incredible levels of cruelty once they feel that someone has wronged them (or one of their friends).

    Where's the scam? They cancelled the wedding after he kicked off at the family, but she had already spent the dowry payment. He knew the account it was going to. There was no trickery.

    Possibly, but I meant over a longer period of time. Like a change in how people are behaving. Thai people have always been fairly well known for not wanting to make a fuss or escalate things (less something bad happens to them), but is seems like this is changing.

    Indeed, but that isn't necessarily the case. He may have not been able to get off, even though his brother was a cop. Him not getting off does not prove that he lied about having a brother who is a police officer.

    Seems like reports of these things are on the rise. I wonder if the crimes are happening more, or if people are more willing to report them?
