  1. This is a little confusing. Are you saying you were made to feel uncomfortable because they didn't want you touching the kids, or because they did want you touching the kids?
  2. That sometimes adults yell at children and it doesn't mean they don't love them?
  3. I don't see a punch. Some really weird body movements. The guy grabs the driver at one point, but the driver seems very chill about it. He seems to be kind of spasming all over the place. I wonder if the guy has some sort of weird disability that causes him to move in this way, and the driver knows about it? He certainly doesn't look like he is actually attacking the driver. And the driver doesn't seem to bothered about what is going on.
  4. Interesting that they cover two ends of the Thai reaction spectrum. Perhaps waiting until they know what actually happened might be a good idea.
  5. And probably right back to the same subsistence living if he is ever released.
  6. Culture and education. Possibly religion.
  7. Did the teacher actually say it was to learn something? You initially say that it's simply to save. It could be for buying things for the class/classroom, or to spend on events or activities. Thai schools can be oddly democratic at times.
  8. Yeah, that sounds pretty fishy. If it was a total stitch-up (the Thai was on the wrong side of the rode, smashed straight into him, but the police were siding with the Thai and asking the foreigner to pay), you would think that would get mentioned. Live streaming one-handed with faulty breaks makes it hard to not blame the foreigner, but still sounds odd.
  9. It doesn't seem to really even warrant a response. It's more nonsensical than even a Jingthing post.
  10. Yeah, I don't fully agree with it, as I think a child needs both a supportive mother and father. That being said, a ton of garbage people have kids and treat them terribly, so simply writing off the idea of different kinds of parenting is not exactly logical. I think one obstacle you face is that foreigners are really not that popular in Thailand. Mixed kids actually don't have that great a life in Thailand and get targeted for bullying a lot. They get called "half-blood" and often cannot really fit in completely. https://aseannow.com/topic/1328590-sexual-assault-in-an-international-school/ (User's mixed girl being repeatedly sexually assaulted.) You might have more luck if you try another ASEAN country, possibly Vietnam. They like White people a lot more there, and I would imagine that a well off, older, single Vietnamese woman would be a lot more like the women you talk about doing this in your home country.
  11. Photo for illustration purposes Yes. According to Google, this photo was uploaded to the "Goat Tracker" Facebook page in August 2022. They do look in fine fettle.
  12. It sounds like you don't want the responsibility of fathering a child, but you do want to be able to watch "your child" grow up. I do understand this, but I think that you might be asking a little much. Even if you find someone who is interested in having a baby and, for whatever reason, wants your sperm to do it, it's actually quite a big ask to want to have regular updates without involvement. Unless you're making financial contributions, what is the motivation for them to send you regular updates? It's very likely that she/they would want nothing to do with you and would really want to forget about the fact that the sperm came from you. Especially if it is a man and woman. I think you have very unrealistic expectations.
  13. I guess he must be innocent if he's refusing food... 🤔
  14. Show the transfers of the load being paid back then... 🤷‍♂️ What's the betting that they will claim it was paid back in cash with no records to verify?
  15. This is pretty much standard for Thailand. No one wants to get involved in case they see some sort of consequences. Same with most disciplinary issues. The victim generally has to leave.
  16. Vs. RFK junior and Vance?
  17. I believe they are called intersex. I'm not sure what various sporting bodies have to say about that. You would hope that they view it on a case by case basis and think about whether the individual has an unfair advantage. I think that was the case with the Olympic boxer that caused a stir recently. She was some sort of intersex and it gave her a massive advantage, but she was still allowed to compete.
  18. It was expected, perhaps even demanded. It wasn't a bonus.
  19. The problem is that it very likely mentions men and women, rather than male and female. If it was male and female, trans athletes would be out of luck, as someone born male remains male.
  20. You written, "reminds me", but what you appear to mean is, "I want to pretend that these things are the same for rhetorical purposes".
  21. It's a lot more than putting on a dress. 🤔
