Rain water runoff to a dirt road
Yellowtail replied to Isan Farang's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
Without surveying the area recommending a culvert under the road is pointless. You still have to dig the ditch, and if there's not grade, the culvert is just going to fill up as well. Once the OP gets to the property, he (or someone) can easily use a water-level or laser to figure out the grade of the property and road. If there is standing water on the road, it's a good bet it has no place to drain to on the opposite side, correct? -
Given the minimal additional cost of running a ground in a new build I would. I've replaced a number of old circle-light fixtures with new LEDs, and they all "required" (albeit did not receive) ground wires. I would not bother adding a ground to an existing light, but on a new build I would.

Rain water runoff to a dirt road

Likely you will have to dig a big ditch between your property and the road. -
No more dangerous than an air compressor when you think about it, a little messier perhaps... That said, it makes little sense because (as woody pointed out) you have to pump water into the take, and you'd still have a pretty wide pressure variation unless you regulated it down, I think the better solution may be tank>constant pressure pump>buffer air-over-water air-tank>regulators>points-of-use. Once I get decent roof access this what I plan to do.

When you responded to "Because you have to burn fossil fuel to charge them?" you were unaware that it was a question? I think that's hilarious. In any event, I was responding to someone's comment that implied EVs would not significantly reduce carbon emissions.
-
So that's a yes?

Because you have to burn fossil fuel to charge them?

My Experience Trying To Register For The Moderna Vaccine
Yellowtail replied to swm59nj's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Just a quick update. I registered for the Moderna vaccine at Bumrungrad back in July without any difficulty. Back in September I got the "free" Pfizer vax at MedPark Fortunately, Bumrungrad allowed me to transfer my vaccine to my son, so he and my wife each got their first shots today! To be clear, except for the parking debacle, MedPark seemed much better organized... -

My first job was in a tool and die shop owned by guys from the UK. I had to make a square block into a sphere with files.

Why do people buy it? I remember banana peels as being a bit harsh....

For what?

Yeah, that's kind of my plan, but I don't want to buy a lot of solvent and have it go south after a few uses... I imported it from the US and it was only about $100...

What solvent do you use?
