  1. I have a Withings Scanwatch Horizon which does pulse, activity tracking, sleep tracking, breathing disturbances during sleep, oxygen saturation, ECG, atrial firbrillation warning ... not BP though - not sure there is anything reliable for that yet. All measurements from the Withings are medically certified. It actually looks like a nice watch too.
  2. Learn how to set default programs in Windows. Switch to Brave browser. (Incidentally the mobile version blocks ads on sites like this one.) Run a Windows cleaner like CCleaner to get rid of junk and speed up yr PC.
  3. Yes she sounds like she could be depressed and needs some help.
  4. I have a UK investment asset backed by property that's paying fixed 12% pa.
  5. Absolutely true. My wife has no idea of her real birthday. And it was a few years before her mum went into town to register the birth. She thinks she's about 3 yrs older than her passport age.

  7. You need specialist advice from someone who takes time to understand your circumstances and objectives and propose the best solutions. This could be someone with more relevant experience than a typical high street accountant. Solutions can include QNUPS and Discounted Gift Trust. Both move assets outside of your estate. The latter creates an income stream for you as well. They sound complicated if you are unfamiliar, but a good practitioner will make the process straightforward.
  8. Agreed. I have Premium and the music streaming service is fabulous... including download all my playlists to my devices. Well worth the money.
  9. Yes inbound transfers from say GBP or USD require fx into THB. This supports demand for THB helping the strength of the Baht. A reduction in remittances, if large, might somewhat soften the Baht against other currencies.
  10. This already exists and in place for well over 100 countries, not just OECD. It's for information exchange, to facilitate taxation but does not reflect on taxation policy of any country.
  11. Use a Thai Baht account on Revolut and connect it to Google Pay on your phone. You can 'tap' pretty much everywhere now in Thailand, except for cash-only transactions.
  12. It's easy to be cynical about the tailor shops on Sukhumvit area, if you have had a bad experience. Ultimately you do get what you pay for, but it should be reasonable prices for well-tailored shirts and suits made from quality materials. I highly recommend "Andrew and Walker" tailors - You can have a conversation with the tailor while he's measuring you up. Discuss what style you're looking for, help you choose the material (not force it on you).. etc. A very reassuring process. The final product is excellent high quality. They are inside the Lotus Hotel Soi Sukhumvit 33.
  13. Some gout sufferers are advised to drink 3+ litres of water a day
  14. November weather is the only thing i miss from the UK... Crystal clear blue sky, cold and fresh air, walk in the country with autumn leaves..
  15. For international business comms as well as saving files on my pc, 2023-09-13 is a logical and understood format regardless of what the local format is.
  16. Once fixed, get a free Cloudflare account for your site. It's great.
  17. Try this guy https://www.trustpilot.com/review/roywalkerwealth.com
  18. You can't circumvent Cloudflare if the site owner has it configured for full proxy (most do). It's a great security system and I learnt the hard way after a couple of my sites were hacked and then tagged by Google as malicious and removed from search results! Cloudflare is great. It also speeds up delivery of the website. If you see it checking your connection, it's likely because of current or recent activity it has detected from your provider's IP range. Incidentally, you can buy domains via Cloudflare AT COST.
  19. Its not about Thai or non Thai. It's about whether a certain person is a good partner match for you. Low engagement, distance, not feeling connected so early in a relationship is a red flag. It wont get any better with time, if she's already making you feel uncertain.
  20. Its very easy to ask ChatGPT for references for any information it presents. If you doubt a response you can also challenge and it will review its own output. I use it pretty much every day for research that can be technical or include academic material... its incredibly useful. But if your enquiry is trivial - plain old Google is better.
