  1. Doubt you would be denied entry. The key here is next entry will be 4 months from previous entry. Do you obtain onward flight within 60 days for your visa exempt entries via air? Often required by airline at departure. How long do you plan to spend in Thailand for this planned Sept trip
  2. The thread concerns CW. Appointments at CW work like clockwork. Brilliant. The fact that you were poorly prepared and required more documents was the issue. Not immigration or having an appointment.. Be aware of the requirements.
  3. That's certainly normal practice at many offices eg CW. Update bank book on day of application and also show activity. Best option is small deposit.
  4. Flame posts removed along with reply.
  5. Off topic post removed. OP looking for guidelines on first time extension based on Thai spouse
  6. As soon as, possible re seasoning rules and bank bogus rule vote with your feet. Open new account at another bank.
  7. Off topic post regards agents removed as off topic
  8. Thanks for first hand feedback. We have 9 page thread on the subject here: I agree with the OP.... if you have time to season your funds then change banks. Personally wouldn't want anything to do with this bank in question.
  9. Good news. Thread closed at OP request
  10. Yeah. It's just for the initial change. Ongoing she won't need to attend. Minor point but be aware when you change the 12 months extension starts on date of application. As a result some Leave the application to later (closer to current expiry) than when then would normally apply. As I stated.. Minor point.
  11. As posted earlier. If rejected submit a second application. Indeed this worked for OP. Thread closed.
  12. Your timing looks tight. Was not aware that you already had the Non O eVisas. As you have the financials covered you only need agent for hand holding. The big bonus is that agents can generally obtain the 12 month extension early. At CW you could apply 45 days prior to expiry of stamp. Talk to agent and see if they could assist with applying for extension early. You could start with Thai Visa Centre. Alternatively attend immigration with dates of flights out (and tickets) to ask when they would process application.
  13. Your questions are straightforward. Prior to addressing that, was any consideration given to this first 2 month visit being done using visa exempt entry. Then next visit after the medical trip enter Thailand on Non O eVisa.
  14. Ah an METV! Would have been good sentence to include in the OP.
  15. That is correct. Immigration can be flexible. A reason (good story) with a flight ticket might do the trick. That normally would only give a couple of extra weeks early.
  16. At Jomtien up to 30 days prior to expiry. At few offices eg CW, CM, Phuket etc up to 45 days prior. And yes if using an agent up to 3 months prior.
  17. OP, you have good advice in post above. Not sure what you mean "guarantee" You need a bank letter which is simple letter from bank that you are owner of the account and balance on day of issue. You also need band statement showing 800k seasoned in the bank for two months prior to application. Assume you are aware of the financial requirements after application. Your wife needs to attend for this first extension based on retirement. There is no multi entry extension. The 12 month extension is 1900b. In addition you can buy a multi reentry permit 3800b There is list of things you require such a TM7 with photo etc. Read this thread: https://aseannow.com/topic/1361170-changing-from-marriage-extension-visa-to-retirement-extension-visa/
  18. An agent can only assist on extensions based on retirement. The guy you quoted did not take a cheap shot. He simply pointed out your posts as unhelpful.. He is correct.
  19. So indeed you are using agent for extension based on retirement. The thread subject in not visas. It's very specific regarding extension (first) based on marriage. Your posts are off topic and wasted helpful advice in thread.
  20. No. You will need a COR. Previously CW required you to have made a TM47 in order to provide a COR. That is no longer the case. You can make appointment. They will mail it out to you. 200b takes about 5 days. This thread outlines details for COR at CW. https://aseannow.com/topic/1286381-certificate-of-residence-at-cw/
  21. Be my guest. Was simply pointing out the option some would not be aware of in Bangkok.
  22. yes, they are - - who said differently? I thought I made it quite clear in the first few words what I was talking about.. So are you doing extensions based on marriage or retirement. If based on retirement why even post when the OP is marriage.
  23. No idea what that means. Thailand make their own immigration rules. One could argue they have far more variety and types of visas than many countries. Won't list them all. Too many. For myself (Oz) I need a tourist visa to enter Vietnam for 30 days. Whereas can enter Thailand even visas exempt (60) Don't see the point of your thread. What are you asking or just venting
  24. Here is old thread re 60 extension. ubonjoe does not even mention Kor Ror for the 60 day extension. Certainly required for 12 month extension. Have read some immigration offices accept days old and some request same day. https://aseannow.com/topic/1130123-re-60-day-extension-to-visit-your-wife/
