  1. Excellent. So the OP can apply for the eVisa while in UK.
  2. No. Do you have resident status in UK. Previously a METV was only applied for in passport country or country where you have permanent resident status. That may have changed since introduction of e-Visa When you return to Thailand how long do you plan to stay.
  3. You miss the point of guy you quoted. If after 5 months a 60 visa exempt exempt followed by another (especially land border) + 30 day extension is good plan We can only post based on visa exempt being 60. If things change then of course so dose advice
  4. Spot on. Current situation is ridiculous. A Non O + perhaps proof of address should be all that is required to open bank account. A requirement of work permit is just insane.
  5. The things you list are the things you would need to provide from a hospital (or clinic) here in Thailand. Seems the DTV (medical) would not be a great fit for your situation.
  6. You have a right to be outraged as what BBL is doing is outrageous. I can't even imagine its legal. I wouldn't want a thing to do with that bank after these recent games. Printed out statements from banking app should not be accepted by immigration. Note there have been reports that they have been accepted at this or that office. Fact is they should not be acceptable.
  7. The deposit (eg 100b) shows activity and also updates the balance. No need to also go to machine to update. Ask teller to photocopy last page of bank book to show the deposit. And yes obtain the bank letter day or two prior.
  8. Correct. Good plan is to have the 15 day window start date in cell calendar and do it as soon as the 15 days opens.
  9. As usual the "rules" Vary depending on io. I have been sent down to L1 to make a deposit to "show activity in the account" on day of application. Having stated that first hand experience I have read posts on this forum where folk did no update or deposit. When I was using FD account for extensions at CW I always did a deposit on day of application. Certainly required for savings accounts.
  10. That's correct. If you were using a savings account CW may also require a 12 month bank statement. As for transaction on day of application you have process that works for you so stick with that. For those with savings account suggest best to make small deposit on day of application. Ask teller to photocopy that last page to show update. Does not matter that the balance on the bank letter will be different to bank book.
  11. It's a concern. Banking in general at this time is fluid. BBL making it's own calls on banking requirements that seem to relate to immigration rules for funds in bank. Current thread discussing the BBL "4 month " requirement. DTV is a "special tourist Visa" As recently as few months back reports of folk being able to open a bank account on tourist statues + certificate of residence. Currently threads running where folk with a Non O not being able to open bank account. Bank asking for work permit. Nothing seems clear. Couple of agents still assisting with opening bank account hower fee much greater. Back to your question... I haven't read of a bank account "closed" etc for those on tourist class visas. There are many folk that previously had Non O with 12 month extensions and obviously a Thai bank account and now for various reasons have ditched the Non O. Snowbirds one example. Certainly its a concern. Hopefully accounts will not be closed. Realize post not very helpful.
  12. Trolling post removed (another)
  13. Bank Letter and Bank Statement can be obtained up to 7 days prior. Suggest obtain day or two prior BTW: Nothing special about your account. Seems you have a FD account (fixed deposit)
  14. Here is random snippet from my Kasikorn bb. All it has is TRN code. Don't see immigration happy that means international transfer. Hope the 12 month bank statement has the required detail.
  15. Trolling post removed
  16. It may seem to some a minor issue however BBL cannot provide a 12 month bank statement on the spot. I use Kasikorn and day prior to my extension obtain 12 month bank statement and Bank Letter. Note to CW members. Someone posted recently that Kasikorn closing branch at CW. Someone may confirm or otherwise.
  17. This is also of concern to others. I use WISE for the monthly transfers to Kasikorn. Kasikorn is also partner to WISE. I plan to provide 12 month bank statement in Thai language. Seems that has a Thai notation that translates to "money from abroad" Failing that folk can obtain "credit advice" from bank to show international transfers.
  18. When you change from money in bank to income method you need to show financial compliance to both methods. I'm currently doing this. For my next extension (Oct) I will show compliance with funds in the bank along with 12 monthly transfers from abroad of 65k+ So you "double up" So to speak for one year.
  19. Indeed. Clearly I'm less than impressed with Thai IT capabilities. Think they still use Mark Sense cards.
  20. Missing the point. Yes you can apply outside of Thailand for eVisa for eg tourist visa, Non O etc. The enter visa exempt in my post was directed to fact you can obtain Non O from that entry. You cannot obtain a tourist visa from visa exempt entry. I would not advise Singapore. In any event what visa do you want.
  21. Frankly your posts make zero sense. Yet you continue with same mantra
  22. Forget about "permanent resident status" in Thailand. You can apply anywhere outside of Thailand for a tourist visa for Thailand or a Non O. You can even enter Thailand on visa exempt and apply for Non O within Thailand at local immigration office. Are your questions genuine.
  23. Some visas previously required you to apply in passport country or country where you have permanent resident status. Examples Non O-A etc. If you actually have specific question best to ask.
