  1. Missed that part. When you apply for extension based on marriage you will be given a stamp to return on that date to receive final stamp.. That under consideration period can be 4 weeks.. If you apply 45 days early thinking you will be ok. In your shoes (job wise) I would consider changing to based on retirement in future.
  2. Correct. Most offices allow up to 30 days prior to expiry. Some Phuket, CW, CM allow 45 days prior to expiry. Many folk live in Thailand on extensions based on retirement and travel in and out of Thailand on regular basis. All that is required is multiple reentry permit. Oil/gas guys (over 50) good example. Even some guys married opt to do extensions based on retirement as it's granted on the spot with no under consideration period and no home visit..
  3. The 30 days is added to current permission of stay stamp. You do not lose days by going early. Agents can apply for extension early. Doing it by yourself at Jomitien sometimes they want you to apply closer to expiry..
  4. This attached thread is not KK but lists docs. https://aseannow.com/topic/1341795-90-day-report-documents-required/ I did mine couple weeks back at CW.. I took all docs often listed in the various threads (safety) In reality she just wanted TM47 My passport and perhaps she took ID page of passport (can't recall)
  5. You would be obtaining a 12 month extension. It's not multi entry. In order to exit and reenter Thailand you buy a multiple reentry permit. 3800b. Can be obtained at immigration or airport on departure. Assume you are under 50. Be aware of the financial requirements for the extension. Funds in Thai bank. https://aseannow.com/topic/1342295-non-o-visa-extention-based-on-marriage-in-phuket/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1337120-what-are-docs-required-for-non-o-married-extension-please/
  6. Last report from Tod was turn around bounce no issue at friendship bridge..
  7. Bit unrelated.,...do you have recent info Nong Khai crossing. Is it still turn around and reenter Thailand. Thinking that's still the case.
  8. As per usual taking a post out of context and revert to Mel Gibson conspiracy theory. The OP has good alternative that being non O retirement+ extensions.
  9. 2 page post over simple question. Seems consensus is to attend Jomitien any time after 9am and if after lunch break preferred then don't leave it till late.
  10. Read the OP. He is using money in bank method for extension based on marriage. He is not using agent for extensions. He is dealing with CW and bankbook will not be required. Note to OP, have bb with you even though won't be required. For those with extensions based on retirement at CW your financial compliance will be checked..
  11. Several off topic, Thai bashing posts and reply removed.
  12. This thread has just about reached its use by date. OP, is 53 yr and has easy option to live in Thailand with annual extensions from a Non O retirement. Insufficient funds then use agent option. From history provided is living in Thailand on concoction of ED, visa exempt entry, etc One would think denied entry would be wake up call. Seems not as asking about a tourist visa.
  13. Yes. Kasikorn most likely will open account with the Non O stamp in your passport. Explain that you intend to obtain 12 month extension. A TM30 along with lease would be a bonus. Bangkok Bank wanted "certificate of residence" along with the non O. Your application won't be rejected. Even if it was doesn't mean loss of ticket. Fly to Thailand enter visa exempt and obtain non O at immigration. This plan B would require agent to open bank account. 4k Best option is to get the non O in USA.
  14. Yep. I did stamp transfer on March 6 at CW. Had to photocopy pages of bankbook back to last extension and do update. (I just made a deposit) Miracle that I had bank book with me.
  15. From date of application. Extension granted Not expiry of permission of stay.
  16. Certified means signed. Both Savannakhet and Vientiane now require appointment. Did you consider a border bounce, enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain Non O marriage at your Thai immigration office?
  17. One (slightly strange) thing to note for anyone obtaining Non O in Bangkok is that if have a tourist visa entry you obtain the non O at CW (TM86) and if have visa exempt you attend LakSi IT mall (TM87)
  18. TM7 (extension) and TM8 (reentry permit) Both of those forms require photo..
  19. It's not required for the OP as funds are not required to be maintained in bank for extension based on marriage using money in bank method. However a new requirement for folk with extensions based on retirement using money in bank method... Bank book required along with photocopies of pages back to last extension along with deposit (update) on day of application. New requirement. Not listed on the link o posted earlier. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=995063&key=4ad28e64c063398b61d0a726240743c6
  20. For extensions based on marriage the 400k only needs to be in bank for 2 months prior to application plus under consideration period. Here is link for transfer stamps CW https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=939160&key=2e63bc0d8abee18369df31b777516cb4
  21. I feel immigration has a valid point. There is good option for ongoing living in Thailand, especially for those 50+ yr. The OP can/should apply for non O retirement and subsequent annual extensions.
