  1. TDAC is very simple to fill in. You can only do the TDAC 72hr or less prior to flight.
  2. I have read a report of someone doing that however can't recall if it was accepted. IMO why would it be accepted. Bit same as 12 month bank statement being obtained from banking app and spat out on home printer. Has zero credibility. Why is alternative proof of international transfers so difficult for you. Or is it just a hypothetical question.
  3. Hopefully I'm wrong however in my imagination I'm hearing from immigration.... "No can" Even my almost zero Thai is aware of that daily... mai dai
  4. You won't know your return to immigration for final stamp until you actually apply. It would be wrong to think it's set formula of application date + 30 days. Does your immigration office do home visits. While a reentry permit can enable short stay out of Thailand it's really best to comple the extension prior to any trip
  5. Not exactly sure of your point. With 75+ immigration offices there is variations on what they require. For my first several + years extension retirement CW would accept photocopies of bank book pages + actual bank book. Of course + the Bank Letter. Then BANG they wanted me to provide 12 month bank statement. They used lame reason that 2 months had zero activity. They make stuff up on the run and just to be difficult. Everyone needs to be aware off their own immigration office and any current games they play. Just because they can.
  6. This should cover it.... TM47 form with copies of: Passport ID page last entry stamp 12 month extension stamp TM30
  7. Your opinion is correct. If accommodation changes do nothing. There are even folk arrive in Thailand with zero accommodation. In the TM6 days folk wrote anything. Nana Hotel soi 4 Sukhumvit was popular.
  8. Whatever. You are wasting my time. The Bank Letter is simply a one page letter confirming you are owner of the account (sole name) along with the balance on date of issue. 100b. See attachment. The 12 month bank statement shows immigration bank balances back till last extension. They can then check for financial compliance and if using income method also check the transfers are from abroad. 200b Note for extensions using money in bank method immigration can just rely on the bankbook. Especially the case for those using FD account.
  9. Some reports of that also having a glitch occasionally even when selecting the option you mention. Including Bangkok Bank.
  10. Sometimes the transfers are not shown as international but rather Thai bank to Thai bank. (internal transfers) Clearly you have not had that issue. Here is thread discussing the problem and as mentioned above "credit advice" may be required. https://aseannow.com/topic/1353650-transfer-code-for-international-transfer-what-does-immigration-accept/
  11. OP, you are best off to use your 12 month bank statement (from the bank). These will show the monthly transfers. In the event of incorrect codes then chat with your bank about "credit advice". A credible poster on the forum (can't recall who) has understanding that if you ask for the statement in Thai language it states in Thai script "money from abroad"
  12. OP, for visa # put the number on your reentry permit. Same as with the previous TM6 days.
  13. Further trolling off topic posts removed.
  14. No problem. Present both pp on arriving in Thailand. Draw attention to reentry permit. Check io stamp in pp to make sure the stamp is valid till expiry of reentry permit. At some point attend KK immigration to have stamps transferred. Did you obtain the reentry permit at KK
  15. What is difficult to understand. Bank Letter has nothing to do with 12 month bank statement. Also as far as bank statements go print outs from computer app are not acceptable. Nor should they be.
  16. I'm guessing the new medical card requirement has made it difficult. Saw this yesterday.
  17. Your post is contradictory. Indeed to have multi entry to many places is similar to Cambodia as you outlined. Another example is Vietnam where for several years I would buy 4 three month multi to Vietnam. Annual cost approx $180usd. Clearly it's not about money. Immigration should just make annual extensions include multi reentry. Accordingly charge everyond 6k. This thread is basically for xpats to have another moan.
  18. Service charge for what. The multi reentry is 3800. 4000 if you use optional service at airport. Why do you need visit immigration twice? In any event your post concerns 90 reporting. The thread is actually about necessity to buy a reentry permit if exit and wish to protect your permission of stay
  19. Out of interest why did you opt for Bangkok Bank
  20. Well first up if you are married then you may/would be made to use extension based on marriage. If not married you could consider extension based on support of Thai child
  21. That's for that link. The guy was very clear with his post and was good summary. The sentence where he mentioned the banks told him it was tied up with use of agents, I found Surprising. Agents for extension retirement yep sure. Agents for extension marriage (specifically money in bank... Nup)
  22. Did you enter Thailand with a visa, a reentry permit or visa exempt. Also letter from embassy not required.
