  1. You can enter on visa exempt or tourist visa and obtain a non O in Thailand. Assume your wife is non Thai. For her to piggyback on your extensions she would need to enter Thailand with a non O. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only? Don't be concerned about onward flight requirement from the airline at departure from UK.. Google "onward ticket.com" and that option is explained. It's basically rent a ticket and works fine.
  2. Any land border (that's open) you will be given 90 day stamp for a ME Non O
  3. That sums it up. The very first step after entering Thailand with the Non O retirement is to open a Thai bank account in your name only (if you dont already have one. Deposit 800k in the account and after funds have been in the bank for 2 months you can apply for 12 month extension. Be aware that it's also possible to enter visa exempt or tourist visa and apply for the Non O at Thai immigration office. This route would require an agent just do assist with bank account.
  4. You applied for a non O based on retirement that is now under consideration. Think you have enough on your plate. Suggest you forget about the final stamp. Make your trip home to UK. Return to Thailand and enter visa exempt. Start step 1 again. Apply for the non 0 retirement. You have the bank account in place with the funds so inconvenient but thinking your best option.
  5. Did you consider mail in option for Oz pp. Actually I've just completed the application form and today print out the application and payment authority then post in.
  6. That's correct especially in airports such as CM. Can't imagine anyone being rejected entry without printout. Poor form imo as the io needs to check all the eVisa details against the pp. It's also required at airline check in departure. In some countries (eg Vietnam) they want hard copy.
  7. OP, once you have new pp apply for reentry permit (unless you have one already. The reentry permit will be valid till expiry of current permission of stay. Travel to Oz and back with both passports. When you arrive back in Thailand you will be stamped in according to reentry permit. At some point you will have immigration transfer your non O information and entry stamp, reentry permit. Can do that at same time as applying for next extension. 30/45 days prior to expiry permission of stay.
  8. Why do you need to use certain branch of your bank for bank letter etc. Use branch closest to immigration
  9. Does your countries embassy in Thailand issue "income letter"?
  10. The important thing is it does not have to be in Thai bank. Having a non O to enter Thailand would assist on opening bank account in Thailand. Using an agent is also an option ~4k if you decide to obtain non O retirement in Thailand
  11. Certificate of residence does not have a photo. Which immigration office
  12. Yes it is. You are asking about a non O based on retirement. That can also be obtained in Thailand with visa exempt or tourist visa entry. You are correct in that opening Thai bank account in your name only is a catch 22. However an agent can assist with that. Any ideas where you wish to live in Thailand
  13. Which province. Some will not accept pink ID card for TDL. Insist upon COR
  14. You need hard copy. Even with receiving an eVisa very late you can walk into any business/condo etc and ask them to print doc. Small tip covers it.
  15. I have always stated that folk need to be aware of their own immigration office requirements.
  16. Hope TM30 does not become common place (CW) I have never provided one (retirement)
  17. My last 2 extensions required TM47 at CW. Prior to that not required.
  18. 800k for 2 months prior to extension. Also maintained at 800k for 3 months after extension application and not less than 400k at other times.
  19. You have a tourist visa and will have been out of Thailand for couple of months. No problem imo. Where you land Thailand. BKK?
  20. Not helping directly with your question....this recent thread has links to "check lists" for docs. https://aseannow.com/topic/1309828-renew-retirement-visa-in-phuket/
  21. It is not non O-A That visa is applied for in home country or where you have permanent resident status.
  22. If that's correct why even post your OP. You would be aware of the options and have already been covered in thread. Move on
  23. If yor pp country provides embassy income letter then then is no issue. Income method 65k per month is hardly enough to live on..
