  1. https://aseannow.com/topic/1310982-extension-online-faster-easier-no/
  2. Don't quite follow what you mean by "airline agents". In you example book flight directly with airline. Obtaining boarding pass at check in the airline should not ask for an onward flight if you have a Visa or reentry permit. In any event if there is any issue step away from check in and either book a rent a ticket with company such as "onward ticket.com" (15usd) Or buy a throw away ticket eg Bangkok to Saigon (2000b)
  3. Perfectly normal. Also TM30 has nothing to do with border bounce. Perfectly normal for immigration to require a TM30.. BTW you didn't have a VOA you have a 30 day visa exempt stamp. Some basic copies of your passport pages along with 1900b and TM30 often required for your 30 day extension
  4. My post was completely incorrect. Of course visa/extension status has nothing to do with bank. Somehow I read it that OP obtaining new pp. Even that would only require updating pp # on the account.
  5. Yes. BTW you do not have a 90 day extension. Thinking you have 90 day permission of stay from a non O.
  6. He edited his OP after my post ask about valid non O-A vs Extensions. Subsequently I did not revisit his OP. So OP, Your border bounce idea is good to go. Exit without reentry permit (which you do not have) and reenter visa exempt. As for your border bounce from Pattaya to Cambodia, this guy @Pattaya57 had recent positive experience with minivan company. Can advise. Don't overlook Jomtien specific rules for obtaining non O from visa exempt entry. This link outlines the process https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/
  7. So to be 100% clear. You are not on extensions from the non O-A you actually have a VALID non O-A. If you do you could consider a border run and reenter prior to non O-A expiry. You would be stamped in for 12 months. Yes would require one year insurance however worth a consideration especially given Jomitien are requiring 2 months 800k prior to application for non O
  8. The way that is written implies that you have a valid Non O-A. You need to clarify that. You need to exit and reenter AFTER it has expired. From visa exempt entry, yes you can obtain a non O retirement and subsequent extension. However Jomitien is a rogue office and currently requiring funds in bank for 2 months prior to application for the non O. In reality it's only required on day of application.
  9. Go to your immigration office and ask if they can do it early. You need some sort of reason. Example sick relative etc.
  10. Which immigration office? Few you can apply 45 days early, most are up to 30 days. You can approach immigration and plead case with flight ticket and a good story for urgent travel. You could chat with an agent to see how early they could arrange early extension. You could just exit Thailand and when return start over. This is not so bad. You could return visa exempt and obtain new non O at your immigration office
  11. You are confused. Read post above yours by @zzzzz You have nothing to transfer. Exit Thailand with both passports and reenter with visa exempt 30 day stamp.
  12. I will 100% use agent when mobility becomes an issue. That will certainly occur prior to 82.
  13. Seems the agent was just for hand holding as you had the financials covered. Assumed you maintained the financial requirements after you obtained your current extension. You can do it yourself. No need for agent. 1. At CW you can do extension up to 45 days prior to expiry of current permission of stay. 2. You must do the extension at immigration office where are living. 3. Do it yourself. #. Reentry permit available at immigration or airport at departure. Multiple reentry permit 3800b. https://aseannow.com/topic/1294544-report-extension-non-o-retirement-bank-method-at-cw/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1284163-202223-bkk-cw-retirement-extension-report/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1312160-excellent-experience-at-cw-this-afternoon/
  14. OP, assume you are planning on obtaining a 12 month extension to your non O retirement. You are aware that you can apply for this visa in Thailand and the option that @Pattaya57 outlined above is very sensible option. Can even be done from a visa exempt entry. Many threads on that. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only.
  15. So not an eVisa. Actual sticker in pp. Does your passport qualify for visa exempt entry? How long till flight to Thailand.
  16. No. You can enter Thailand visa exempt for 30 day stamp and obtain 30 day extension. You most likely need proof of onward flight for airline. Alternative is SETV. Thinking visa exempt best idea
  17. Well to state your experience is an outliner is an understatement. Even folks entering to Thailand visa exempt are rarely ask to show onward flight by immigration on arrival. Flying visa exempt the airline at departure often asks for onward flight. With a visa in passport almost NEVER. Same as with reentry permit. Your information is poor...in any event seems you were not refuse boarding pass at departure or refused entry on arrival to Thailand. I'm not wrong at all.
  18. Fast tract at BKK does not equate to io going easy on continuous stay (with short time out) There are agents do "meet and greet" at fast tract to assist. Suggest a visa is best option.
  19. Not one of your posts have provided positive information. Contribute advice for the OP.
  20. Immigration does prefer based on retirement as less paperwork. A non O is based on something. Marriage and Retirement two examples.
  21. The first extension must be based on same reason as the non O application. Subsequent extension you can change.n In OP friends example he does first extension based on marriage and next extension change to retirement
  22. Don't apply for a non O-X. Since you are 51 and married to a Thai did you consider non O based on marriage with ongoing extensions. Very easy financial requirements. Re the bank account...entering with a non O would make opening bank account more easy. Where in Thailand do you plan to live? Your wife needs to enter Thailand on her Thai pp
  23. I'm not so sure on this one. I vaguely recall years ago...I renewed my passport. Subsequently attended bank to get some green. No good. The bank insisted they update their records (passport details. Guess pp # was main one) Then did the transition. OP, don't think you will have any issue but suggest talk with bank directly
  24. If you have a visa you would not be asked about onward flight at departure by airlines or immigration when arriving
