  1. OP , it's all about continuity of stay. If you exit Thailand and return on new visa or visa exempt you will need to make a TM30. On other hand it you exit Thailand and reenter with a reentry permit or ME Visa then you are not required to make a TM30. The rules regarding TM30 were changed in June 2020. Sadly one major immigration office has not followed change to rules. Specifically 2.2 That office is CM. Ridiculous immigration office. In event of change of address where you normally reside that would require a TM30. Not applicable to OP.. This thread outlines change in requirements. https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/
  2. Just sometimes people I have on ignore I opt to read their post. Maybe I was wrong. So I read your previous 2 posts suggesting PE visa for 95 year old. Get real ...most foolish suggestion
  3. Yes it can. For most immigration offices the funds having been in Thai bank account for several months would not require proof funds from abroad
  4. Do you wish to contribute in positive fashion. The multi entry 90 day visa option to Vietnam has only recently been added to eVisa options for Vietnam. The OP is asking about Thailand. You have no idea of OP situation. Your post is completely irrelevant.
  5. Yes it does. He can obtain at his immigration office or at airport.
  6. He can obtain a reentry permit. 1000b for single Without reentry permit he would need to enter visa exempt. His best option depends on how long he wants to stay in Thailand.
  7. I vaguely recall recent post of immigration office wanting EMS on return envelope. Think it was CW. You cannot obtain that stamp in advance. Think one suggestion was to include 40 baht stamp and write EMS on return envelope. Personally I wouldn't bother . I just had post office place 12baht stamp on return envelope.
  8. I use B4 size envelope. Fold the return envelope to fit inside the posted B4 envelope that has a EMS stamp. Regards return stamp splash out and pay for EMS.
  9. After many successful online TM47 my last 2 were rejected and I had to go in person to CW. They did not ask me for my TM30. I provided lease. Not clear on how to advise to avoid another 800b fine. However seems that CW accepted your TM30 albeit with a fine. Thinking if you go in person they will have that information and accept your TM47. Note that appointments work a treat at CW.
  10. Move. Also remember to always make it clear with any landlord that you require a TM30 prior to moving in.
  11. OP, note that the option outlined by moonlover above and link is a very good suggestion. Be aware that requires Non O to be obtained prior to entering Thailand.
  12. He can obtain a non O retirement in home country. (best to provide that detail) Having entered Thailand with that visa he would receive a 90 day stamp. He will need a Thai bank account. That Non O visa would/should enable him to open a bank account. He can then deposit 800k in that bank and be given a 12 month extension. Having stated all of that he would be best off at 95 to have an agent do all of the above. No funds in bank required. However does need a Thai bank account. (agents can do that also) Going this route he could even enter visa exempt or tourist visa. Immigration will not impose any "extra requirements" due to age.. No requirement for insurance for a Non O retirement and subsequent extension. It would also help if you indicate where your father plans to live in Thailand..
  13. Both your questions have been answered. With your remote online work no problem. Have funds for that deposited into your Greek bank. One small issue is that I assume you do not have a Thai bank account. What plans do you have to transfer from your Greek bank to Thailand? Regards your visa permit.... You make a printout for the email you receive and present with pp. Be aware that io check it very carefully against the details in your passport so when you receive the eVisa carefully check for and details that do not match your pp..
  14. I had not heard of them. Decided to check it out. Seems you have valid concerns. The attachment is from goggle search "KIM reviews" To the OP, suggest you take a screenshot of anything from airline that has your name and flight details. Crop and upload for visa application. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Reviews 97 • Bad 1.6
  15. Why have people been able to do this previously. Read the thread I posted above. Granted you are most likely correct about trying to do it multiple times as the OP has outlined.
  16. You are being paranoid. There is nothing that can go wrong with reentry permit. It's a very simple process. It only requires couple of photocopies from pp and a TM8 form with photo. The staff will even do that for small fee. At DMK you can see the office from where you are being stamped out at passport control. Yesterday I renewed my extension at CW and grabbed a que ticket for reentry permit. Then decided to skip that as I'm flying out of Thailand later this month and will obtain permit at airport. You are over worrying to extreme
  17. Please stop. It's not just about "disabled" I mentioned other considerations Such as funds trapped in Thai bank account. Granted a WILL is one solution. Using an agent is another. I never stated that I was disabled.. Well that's relative. I'm old and that will happen to you. Again suggest you pull your head in. Live and let live. Your earlier post re "lazy" etc is straight up insult. Actually surprised as most of your posts sensible
  18. You have a self centered view. Why does it trouble you so much. Today I did my trip to CW. Good news was obtained another 12 month extension based on retirement. I'm bit lucky in that have car and could obtain parking right in front of entrance. Being elderly and not good hip replacement it was a challenge. Had appointment but needed photos , photocopies etc. Also bank updates. Also needed to obtain bank statements the day prior. For me that was not easy. Another slightly unrelated is difficulty for my 10 year partner (no married) to access funds when I check out. May move to income method or even agent. Get off your high horse.
  19. There needs to be forum below even rubbish "Pub forum".. Not sure of best tag. Perhaps "scared of own shadow" Or "Im overactive and suffer from panic attacks"
  20. Oh thanks .... I was so unaware of that option. You mean the reentry permit desk at BKK zone 2 just prior to passport control and reentry permit desk at DMK just after passport control . Ta
  21. Just bumping your thread as you did not receive a reply. A letter from the school would be useful to explain upon reentry how you are to spend time outside Thailand with an ED visa Discussed here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1260289-exit-and-re-entry-w-1-year-edu-visa/
  22. No. 90 day report date becomes irrelevant upon leaving Thailand. Ignore any report reminder. When you reenter your clock restarts and your new due date is 90 days from reenter date.
  23. You are the one that is kidding. Thailand has many options regarding visas. For 5/6 months stay you could obtain a METV. This visa provides permit of 60 days which can be extended by 30. For 6 month stay you could do , 60 + 30 then spend a weekend in say Saigon where being UK you are visa exempt entry. Reenter Thailand for another 90 days. Sorry it's all so tough. Not.
