No. When you do an extension you are given a "permission of stay" To exit Thailand and keep that "permission of stay" you need to buy a reentry permit. If you plan to make more than 3 trips outside of Thailand then multi is better than single reentry permit. Single 1000b Multiple 3800b Same TM8 form you just tick multi of Singles box

If you read the few posts after that I apologized to the max. Read the post in the opposite way. And the guy I quoted accepted my mistake. OK by you..,... Somehow earlier I read your post that with a visa every country does NOT have the right to refuse entry Of course every country has the right to refuse entry with or without Visa. Reentry - questions at airport?

Incorrect. Not going to fish out all the old threads but have been several. Particularly at BKK and DMX airports around 2019 and yes they had tourist visa etc. Granted it's not common. -

OP, at immigration office you can obtain it anytime prior to exit. At airport obtained at time of departure. Be aware that CW currently has long queues without appointment -
OA retirement extension

Why not. If your 65k+ transfers are genuine then just show immigration your bank book with photocopies. You do realize the funds can be withdrawn. Note; some immigration offices may require banks statements. -
Confused about my visa options!
DrJack54 replied to Nedrapter's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, as already mentioned METV is an option to obtain about 9 months. With couple of visa exempt border runs you could make a year. Then time for ring. -

CW. The OP included a link outlining photocopies of various pages from old PP. Offices have their own take on things.. -
Change visa stamps to new passport

This thread points out some offices that charge. Yes sure you can ask for supervisor etc... Similar to certificate of residence. It's free but not free. Example 200b at CW. https://aseannow.com/topic/1268389-transfer-extension-stamp-to-new-passport/ -
Change visa stamps to new passport
DrJack54 replied to jimn's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Not my experience. Need required photocopies from old pp. Regards letter from embassy.. UK, USA, AU to name just 3 no longer provide "letter" "Charge" varies depending on immigration office. Believe it's free at CW Added note. Stamps such as reentry permit etc needs to be done at immigration office where issued. -
Google "streets of philadelphia kensington" Also.. "Soft White Underbelly "

As pointed out above . One medical is sufficient if you renew both at same time. You also require a certificate of residence. You obtain that at your immigration office.
