Savannakhet Multi Entry. Change permission to stay
To apply for 12 month extension of stay based on marriage you require the 400k in bank for 2 months prior to application. That application will then have an under consideration period (perhaps a month). The funds should remain in the account till final stamp is entered. Depending on immigration office you would/may also have a home visit. The thing with annual extensions based on marriage is that travel during this time can be problematic due to home visit. I did not examine your dates...expiry and planned trip to check if feasible. As mentioned the 60 day extension to visit wife could be used to buy time and push back the extension date application. Plan B: Yes if after your trip you enter Thailand visa exempt you could obtain a Non O marriage at your local immigration office and then obtain 12 month extension. That process is explained here and that thread has links to similar thread. Take note of TM87 form required. https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/

Bangkok Immigration Government Complex: something new I should know?
Sure thing. As explained you do not have a visa. Also a clear easy statement such as .. "Going to CW for 30 day extension any change to required documents" Would have been clear rather than cryptic OP.

Bangkok Immigration Government Complex: something new I should know?
I remember the OP now from this thread: https://aseannow.com/topic/1351622-e-visa-do-you-still-need-to-print-it/ That was also vague. Seems OP entered Thailand with a single entry tourist visa (e-Visa) and that would have given him a 60 day permission of stay stamp. (He has no visa) Seems now wishes to go to CW for 30 day extension. Apart from basic copies of pp immigration most likely require a TM30.

Bangkok Immigration Government Complex: something new I should know?
Appointments are not required for services at CW including extensions. In addition currently appointment slots are few and far between. Here is appointment link for anyone wanting that. The booking window is up to one month in advance: https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ I'm not sure what status the OP has and what he is attending immigration for.

If you stopped being so cryptic you would receive correct advice. What visa type ends on April 18. What are you going to immigration for?

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system is online (but not announced as starting yet)
Is this related to TDAC or simply an IT question. I'm filling in TDAC form online on my cell phone. Zero issues.

Bangkok Immigration Government Complex: something new I should know?
You are referring to your extension expiring? Extension based on retirement? Money in bank method? Suggest you have a TM30 + usual other docs. Nothing new. Any acknowledgement forms etc will be given at doc check.

Savannakhet Multi Entry. Change permission to stay
You would not be obtaining a single entry Non O. You could apply for a 12 month extension based on marriage. That would require 400k seasoned for 2 months. Also has an under consideration period. Have you obtained 60 day extension "to visit wife". Keep in mind that you can reenter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a single entry Non O at local immigration office. That would require 400k in bank on day of application. Subsequently you could obtain 12 month extension.

I'm still looking for the black boxes. What do you actually wish to know. Seems very simple form to fill in.

Switching from Thai Elite (Privilege Entry) visa to DTV...
That someone is correct. Here is old thread discussing working online. https://aseannow.com/topic/1231219-work-remotely/ DTV would be perfect fit however the person already has a lovely PE Visa. Do as @JB300 suggested earlier. https://aseannow.com/topic/1258973-working-online-in-thailand-for-foreign-company/

How to Expedite extension processing
When I haven't been able to obtain appointment at CW my plan B is to arrive just prior to 12 to obtain que ticket. Use lunch break to update bank book and make small deposit. At 1pm when doors open those with que tickets are admitted first. Yes from there it's sit and wait Some discussion in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1352304-retirement-visa-or-marriage-visa-extension-at-very-old-age/

How to Expedite extension processing
Assume that the extension is based on retirement? There are good agents in Bangkok. ThaiVisaCentre is one example

TDAC most likely make no difference. You could try 90 reporting using mail option as alternative to in person

Non- Immigrant O-A Visa switch to Non-Immigrant O Visa
Hopefully someone who has actually done the e-Visa in Vietnam can outline first hand experience. The peace of mind plan B is that you are aware of the option to obtain the Non O in Thailand from visa exempt. Any issue with the e-Visa you're still right to go

Non- Immigrant O-A Visa switch to Non-Immigrant O Visa
1. Not important. You can put your address in Thailand or even pp country. As for the accommodation part of your question ...what you outlined is overkill but yes would work if can upload. 2. Yes. Just use your flight back to Thailand. 3. No Note: you may wish to take some proof of funds in bank for the e-Visa application

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system is online (but not announced as starting yet)
I protest strongly about TM47 and TM30 (just two on my hate list). Still looking for "suggestion box" Your Google calendar has reminders. Not a big deal.

Have you read the thread. The TDAC can only be applied for up to 3 days prior to and till flight or entry to Thailand. So you basically have 3 day window

Visa Exempt 30 day extension
Doesn't take long to find MANY posts regarding Jomtien. Here is one from random thread from @Rob Browder "Also, if one is applying for the 90-Day Non-O in Thailand, you don't need to "season" the money for 2 months for this - only for the 12-month extension. Same-day 800K in the bank is fine for the initial 90-Day Non-O. The exception is Jomtien , where the lady who operates that desk will insist on non-rules seasoning OR a 15K Baht cash payoff - that scam being ongoing for many years" Clearly your first hand experience is not regarding visa exempt to Non O. Yep rogue office also in regards to how early the 30 day extension can be applied for. https://aseannow.com/topic/1318842-jomtien-immigration-still-same-30-day-extensions-can-only-be-done-1-business-day-prior/

Visa Exempt 30 day extension
The OP asked a very simple question. " Simple question is what documents do I need to bring to my local immigration to extend a 60 day exempt for 30 days?" If you have first hand experience then reply to the OP directly.

Retirement Visa Requirements / Criteria
You are just mixing various things into one pot. For first extension (money in bank method) a three month bank statement would be sufficient. For ongoing extensions a 12 month bank statement would be required. Note some offices would just accept bank book and photocopies of pages. Health insurance is only required for extensions from a Non O-A for retirement. Not required for extensions from a Non O-A for marriage. Medical certificate: I'm only aware of one office that requires that. Is that Samui? In the main most offices are consistent with minor variations. Such as one may require a eg TM30 and another office Not. etc

Visa Exempt 30 day extension
I stated ,..."certainly not best immigration office" First cab of the rank is that were requiring 2 months seasoning for Non O retirement application from visa exempt entry. That is just a made up nonsense. Also they run hot and cold on TM30 for things such as extensions. etc. You posted...."That thread is over a year old and not relevant to how it is now.". The OP asked what docs are required for 30 day extension. The links I posted have replies that list the docs. What have you posted to assist the OP. Ans Zip.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system is online (but not announced as starting yet)
Thanks for that. In any event I plan to put my country of residence my passport country and phone # just a random Oz number. BTW in your screenshot the fields are made up replies? (fictitious)

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system is online (but not announced as starting yet)
When I did a mock run with the TDAC, I put country of residencee: Australia (even though I live in Thailand). In turn for phone number it auto filled had +61. That's country code for Oz. I tried to change it to Thailand+66 and it didn't like that. (maybe it was me) Anyway I subsequently put a random Oz cell #. No problem. Do you expect they plan to give you a bell to say hi.

arriving to thailand on the weekend
No problem. However wherever he is staying they can do a TM30 online and provide him with copy. No need for him to bother with trip to immigration.

arriving to thailand on the weekend
What will be his status in Thailand. Entering visa exempt? Does he plan to have business with immigration? Example obtain an extension etc If not do nothing. Edit: posted at same time. You mention border bounce. He should use a minivan border run company.
