  1. Think you are missing the point. To fly to Thailand without visa it's not Thai immigration that is the issue. The airline at departure may want to see onward flight A bus ticket to Laos or whatever doesn't cut it.
  2. the following countries who can enter Thailand, without a visa, for a stay of not more than 30 days for tourism purposes: Andorra Australia Austria Bahrain Belgium + another 59 other lucky countries.
  3. Google "onwarticket.com" That works approx 12usd Or cheapest throw away flight. It's not immigration in Thailand that will be issue. It's your airline at departure. You mention Loas. If you are flying Bangkok to LP then airline would accept flight that as onward flight. How long do you wish to stay first entry to Thailand?
  4. Bit off topic but do you realize your current 3 or 4 posts on various threads are years old. Including this one . Take a kip.
  5. What's up with you. You now posting few ancient threads. Yes immigration at CW require you sign extra pages. In the main acknowledged of overstay etc. Move on. Silly posting
  6. Not required and if you offered photocopy of your last TM6 they would push it back. Not required
  7. It's not required. Even the online TM47 does not even have a field for it.
  8. SETV+30 day extension gives 90 day stay. Another option is to enter visa exempt and obtain 30 day extension and a border bounce for another visa exempt entry.
  9. You can do that or just chuck it. Won't be required. Think some folk even put their TM47 in their passport. Crazy.
  10. My last annual extension was November 2022. I did not provide TM6 even though I had one as had not exited Thailand since covid 2020. I realize immigration require them for land border enter however (imo) immigration for extension will not ask for copy TM6. In recent times I have obtained certificate of residence and 90 report in person. The TM6 not required.
  11. If you don't renew your pp then next July when you apply for extension, the extension will be granted but have an expiry same date as your pp expiry. Renew your pp now best idea.
  12. Because when you go for next extension immigration look back over the previous 12 months either by looking at your bankbook or Bank Statements. If you used an agent the financial requirements are not met. It's a retrospective check (12 months)
  13. Very short thread here , however ubonjoe posts link for appointment. This is required. Also comments re financials. https://aseannow.com/topic/1266940-setv-in-vientiane/
  14. No. Also note that his non O-A visa has an expiry date. If he does an exit reenter just prior to expiry of his visa he will be stamped in for 12 months. Note he will require health insurance for that period and be aware that any travel out of Thailand requires a reentry permit.
  15. It's not huge money . Assume your friend has good intentions so should just wipe this off to experience and continue his good work. Might be a cheap lesson.
  16. I have never read it's required. Having stated that you are applying outside of Thailand. For me , I would pack the kitchen sink.. Kor Ror 2 is easy to obtain.
  17. Fools are easily separated from their money.. Your friend fits that and slightly surprised you ask a forum such a silly question. He got scammed.
  18. My second post has links to recent threads.. Give them a read..
  19. A non O multiple entry visa valid for 12 months from date of issue cannot be obtained in Thailand. A non O retirement single entry can be obtained in Thailand from visa exempt or tourist visa entry. The multiple entry non O visa requires exit from Thailand as each entry provides a 90 day stamp. You mention mobility issues .. Cannot see this as good option ongoing.
  20. Think this sums up certain folk. https://youtube.com/watch?v=-yV7nK8lF8Q&feature=share
  21. Not being picky ...but it's a Non O. Can be based on retirement or marriage (to Thai) Yes can be obtained in Thailand from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. A tourist visa can not be obtained in Thailand
