You do not have a non O . You have record of the non O-A in pp. You can continue to obtain ongoing extensions based on retirement however will require insurance If you changed reason to based on marriage insurance is not required Edit: just re read your two posts. Re using agent to change from non O-A to non O. Don't understand how that was done. Would be interesting to see stamp.

1-night hotel booking for TM30?
DrJack54 replied to steve0101's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I do not have recent experience however immigration should receive screenshot of your TM30. BTW since you entered visa exempt you do not attend CW for 30 day extension. You will go to IT mall LakSi. (not far from CW) -
Extension of stay Non O (marriage) Roi Et
DrJack54 replied to RC8's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Seems to be currently guess work. @Tod Daniels do you have any current advice on required funds along with seasoning for Savannakhet. I'm thinking just 400k in bank sufficient. Here is a cut paste of a thread I will attach... "I've been to Savannakhet a couple times this year. Things change depending on who's sitting behind the window and how they feel that day. To more or less guarantee a Non-O Multiple based on Marriage have the money seasoned for 2 months .... in a Thai bank account. If less, you might be stuck with a Single entry". https://aseannow.com/topic/1328915-multiple-entry-marriage-visa/ -
Extension of stay Non O (marriage) Roi Et

Think you will find the multi non O marriage now requires 400k in bank account. https://aseannow.com/topic/1310170-savannakhet-now-require-bank-statement-400k-for-1-year-multi-visa-non-o-marriage-or-thai-family/ -
The added bonus (prob mentioned already) for those with a non O prior to entering Thailand that would assist greatly with opening a Thai bank account for those that don't have one. How long did the process take in USA. @Pattaya57 did the same recently non O retirement obtained in Oz. Think it only took few days.

Think maybe you are slightly confused with a single entry non O and a multi entry non O . The single give you a 90 day stamp upon entry and at that point it's "used". The next step is to obtain a 12 month extension. The other extension possible is 60 day to visit family. The non O multiple entry is a different animal. It cannot be obtained in Thailand. You obtain that visa at consulate or Thai embassies. It is valid for 12 months and allows a stay of 90 days each entry. Lot of married guys obtain this visa instead of the single entry with it's 12 month extension.

Good pick up. The first extension needs to be based on marriage and don't think agent can obtain extension based on retirement. Suggest he do as you mentioned and bounce to obtain another 90 day stamp. After that an agent may suggest he exit and reenter visa exempt to "start over" with non O based on retirement. Plan @OJAS suggested earlier worth consideration

He doesn't have a valid Visa he has a permission of stay protected by his reentry permit. Has happened to me personally. I had a multi entry visa to Vietnam with few days validity. Was flying to Saigon for few days and onward home to Bangkok. Jetstar dug heels in at check in Melbourne. Wanted to see my flight out of Vietnam prior to expiry of visa. Showed flight on cell phone. Boarding pass issued.

Think you are jumping the gun however the option to change extension to based on marriage is simple. Especially as you are using income method. Your wife will need to attend.. Immigration may try to talk you out of it. Thread discussing the process. https://aseannow.com/topic/1314382-change-from-reirement-to-marriage-visa/

OP, you have a 3 page thread on similar question. Link below. Don't understand why you obtained a reentry permit. The io will most likely stamp you in for the few days remaining on your permit. Don't be surprised if airline at check in asks for onward flight. Even with a reentry permit. Then you plan a border bounce? Did you consider extension from the non O? https://aseannow.com/topic/1324898-i-got-a-non-o-single-visa-but-i-would-like-to-enter-into-visa-exempt-use-the-visa-later/
