  1. Yes some approved and some not. I have posted in this thread that I have made online reports 15 days prior to due date and with no reply and subsequently rejected after due date.. I went today in person 6 days after due date. Zero fine. There has never been report of fine in person during "grace period"
  2. You can continue your rants in various threads. It is very boring. Actually I find it embarrassing for you. You have issues with immigration fine. Most of us do not. There is a saying...Get over it. Your "criminal case" will be a train wreck. The OP was asking simple question and you sidetracked it with series of rants. Not only in this thread.
  3. Exit Thailand without reentry permit killing off your current permission of stay. Reenter visa exempt and obtain Non O retirement at Thai immigration office. For the non O application you need 800k in bank on day of application. The financial requirements for annual extensions are the same as extensions for non O-A with no insurance requirements.
  4. It occurs when someone is off their meds. Surely this thread has run it's course.
  5. Bit off topic ... Any guys married to Thai national and want to enter visa exempt 30 day stamp and wish to maximize stay....do it as a 30+ 30extension + 60 extension to visit wife. In that order. Outlined here in short thread with ubonjoe post https://aseannow.com/topic/1276780-60-day-extension-to-visit-spouse-and-family/
  6. Yes. Sweet deal for married folk. Discussed in this thread. As BtriTim points out if the 30 day extension is also required best to do in order .. 30+30+60
  7. Don't follow. Extension to visit wife can be obtained from visa exempt entry
  8. I'm no expert but it goes something like this. A company eg WISE has Thai banks the deal with (partner banks for transfers) Let's say they have Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn. If your bank bank in Thailand is not one of those the funds might land in Kasikorn and then be transferred to your Thai bank and the code in internal transfer. Needs to be international. No problem you go to your bank and request a "credit advice" This is a once off as it's only the 800k for the Non O that requires this. Transfer for ongoing extensions does not require funds from abroad codes.
  9. Yep ....previously I used OFX who I found great and customer service via call back phone Sydney to Thailand was excellent. However head to head comparison against WISE the winner was always WISE
  10. I have never experienced that. I periodically check a transfer using WISE against other options. Haven't found better option. Might also depend on the country where funds are coming from.
  11. It's best to use a money transfer company. Never to bank to bank transfers
  12. Your OP seems to indicate that your father is obtaining the Non O (based on retirement) in Thailand. There is no seasoning of funds for that application. There must be 800k in a Thai bank account in his name only on the day of application. The funds need to come from overseas (unless the funds have been in Thai bank for some time) A commonly used company for money transfer is WISE. If it's not coded FFT your bank in Thailand can provide credit advice. Note that for subsequent applications for 12 month extensions the funds do not need to be shown as coming from o/s. OP does your father have a Thai bank account in his name only?
  13. Experience today 90 day report CW. My application was still pending so went in person today (6 days post due date. Used appointment option. Posted link earlier. When you enter area where que tickets are issued you go far right side. Desk #4. Show hard copy of appointment. I was very early. 9.15am for 11am appointment. They have 2 desks for appointments. The person giving out ticket spoke on phone to one of the io. I was directed straight to desk and was was issued TM47. It took less that 5 minutes. I had printed out first page of my lease, pp pages......not required. She wanted passport and last TM47 and application form.
  14. FWIW .....just now received a noreply email from online report. My application was rejected. No reason given. Robot reply. Here is pic of recent online reports. I give up. Thai IT is useless.
  15. The immigration officer should stamp you in according to your reentry permit. Vaguely recall a post where the reentry was due to expire shortly and the chap asked for 30 day visa exempt stamp and it was given. Personally not something I would think is common.
  16. No I have done it previously. Eventually the online was approved after 12+ days pending status. I eventually received reply in my self addressed envelope and the TM47 receipt had red ink hand written (in Thai) My gf informs me "already approved" No problem.
  17. They should accept a TM30. The non O retirement application needs 15 days+ remaining on permit to apply.. some offices more. How many days do you have remaining
  18. And the non O based on what. Ok just read your answer. Retirement. So assume that you have a Thai bank account in your name only. There are couple of immigration offices that state rental history etc. CW for example could require only TM30. The requirements you posted in the OP.....rental agreement etc. Where did that come from
  19. Ignore the reminder. As for can you do it online Oct. 90 days from entry date. Yes Having said that I made a trip to Vietnam and returned February. I changed the arrival day in my online report...Rejected. Had to go to CW in person. The next report due Aug 17. Currently "pending" after few weeks. Result : I'm off to CW tomorrow for another in person report. I so hate this rubbish. Next report (after tomorrow) will shoot both barrels. 15 days prior do "online" and "mail"
  20. Means that your extension stamp will have and expiry date 16 June.. You can decide to do that but silly idea. Obtain a new pp now. Probably don't have enough time. You do realize that many countries have a 6 month validity rule.
  21. Agree. What do you do for onward flight for airline flying to Thailand. eg Saigon to Bangkok
  22. First up here is online link https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add As for your online "pending" forget about it. My report (CW) also is pending. I had already done one weeks ago and eventually cancelled and submitted another ...still Pending. I also am going to CW tomorrow. You can make an appointment at CW. If you do print out your confirmation email. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131 As for next time ..You should be able to do it online. My last 2 have failed online after several successful online reports. My next one will try online and also do report via mail. Doing both does not derail the report. If online is accepted then your return from immigration via mail states "already approved"
  23. OP, reading your post I was about to reply exactly what BritTim posted. Both your plans will work. I notice in another thread that you have traveled to Saigon previously. As you would be aware Saigon airport is easy bus/taxi trip to district 1. Also I'm guessing they are from country that have visa exempt entry to Thailand. Ripper place and would be nice addition to their Thailand holiday. Think you are on ME Non O marriage? Perhaps it fits in with your time to exit/reenter Thailand
