  1. Yes they do. Regarding you comments about appointment slots ....they are readily available from Monday. Make an appointment and make hard copy of confirmation email. Doc check will want that along with basic copies of pp. TM7 with photo and TM30 (screenshot from condo will cover it) There is photocopy shop to left side immigration entry.
  2. That information is incorrect. Which immigration office do you deal with
  3. Given that information thinking you could look into obtaining a non O retirement in Oz. That would make opening a bank account in Thailand easier. Do you know where you plan to live in Thailand?
  4. I'm not sure. Bit off topic but....I was chatting with an Oz woman that happens to work at Oz embassy. Living in Bangkok for quite some time. Asked her about the "income letter" thing. Why did AU embassy stop providing that. She explained that Statutory declarations cannot be certified for use outside of Australia. Also should never have been providing that service. That's all according to her FWIW.
  5. I'm VERY well aware that for folk that entered on tourist visa for extension need to attend CW. The OP entered on visa exempt. Hence Lak Si. With link for appointment and mentioned TM30 which seems to be required at that office.
  6. From the OP.... "A foreign national recently resigned from a private Thai company to work for an NGO and obtained a Non-Immigrant "F" Visa to work for the said organization." It's the old "friend of mine" IMO a nonsense thread. Very vague at best. The OP has not posted since starting thread. Speaks volumes.
  7. List them. I can't work as I'm on extensions based on retirement. So from a "non O " who can obtain a work permit.
  8. Non O based on what? If marriage he could obtain work permit. Based on retirement not possible. Your post is vague.
  9. You need attend IT mall Laksi. Appointments are available Here is link for appointment. Make hard copy of confirmation. You will need to provide TM30. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131
  10. What are you typing about. Recent reports of an office charging 500b. Various immigration offices apply charge for certificate of residence from zero to whatever. Some offices (smaller ones) provide option on same day service. CW as one example only provide mail out service. Cost 200b. No other option I did this few weeks ago at CW and received COR in 5 days.
  11. It's part of living in Thailand. I go with the flow. Most I have seen posted is 500b. Can't recall the immigration office. CW is 200b and it's mailed out EMS. Cannot receive same day.
  12. AU embassy in Thailand does not provide confirmation of address. Apart from UK ...I think USA also stopped the address confirmation. I have only needed Oz embassy in Bangkok for renewal of passport and real estate sales in Oz. Expensive yes but no one cares. Bit similar with those embassies note supporting annual income statements. Both examples involve stamping Statutory declaration in case of AU and Affidavit in case of USA. That is not valid and previously misunderstood.
  13. Do you have an existing Thai bank account? You could consider entering Thailand visa exempt and applying for non O retirement in Thailand. You would need to be able to transfer 800k into your Thai bank. You would require 15 days + on your 30 day entry stamp to apply for the non O. To buy more time you could obtain a 30 day extension.
  14. This is what you need to do. Go to HH immigration office. I looked through past threads and can confirm reports of combo method being accepted at HH. Vaguely recall ubonjoe suggesting that monthly income equalling 400k for the year and the additional 400k for the required 2 months prior and 3 months post application being the recommended combo. They won't be happy. More work. This link is short but posts confirm possible combo at HH https://aseannow.com/topic/1262900-renew-retirement-non-o-combination-method/
  15. Are you using this https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add There is no field for TM6. Folk using this just fill in pp # and nationality and then hit magnifying glass. Any field that needs change just backspace in field and make change. One example of possible change : last entry date.
  16. Your first extension from a non O starts 90 day report clock. For that first extension some offices will accept a rental agreement. Some will want a TM30. Seems you are on 12 month extension from a non O. In that case you can travel to other provinces, stay away from your usual residence and do not need to file a TM30. Also you can travel internationally and "protect" your permission of stay with a reentry permit and when return you do NOT need to do a TM30. If you change your usual address eg move to new location (change of address) then you will do a TM30.
  17. OP, you have good advice above. Regards dealing with Sydney have you looked at the process. It's not difficult. Perhaps someone could help you with the 4 step process. https://sydney.thaiembassy.org/en/index
  18. No. You can obtain a certificate of residence from your immigration office. The cost varies.
  19. No. Note there are couple of immigration offices that are ignoring change to TM30 rules that changed in June 2020 regarding to overnight + stays in another province along with international travel. CM being one example.
  20. The lady io that did my 90 day report didn't bat an eye when I showed her both applications. Put the COR form to one side and processed the Report. Was pleasantly surprised when she photocopied the TM47 . That's needed for the COR and she saved me trip downstairs to photocopy stall.
  21. Yes. As I understand things ...you cannot make appointment for COR at CW. I needed the COR for TDL renewal. So I made the appointment for 90 day report as I had trouble with online at that time.. The ticket lady at far right side of front desk just prior to 90 day report area gave me ticket with appointment time. Saw the io and showed her both applications. She did the 90 Report and photocopied the TM47 Receipt and then processed the COR. 200b. I received the COR via mail 5 days later.. This was done few weeks ago.
  22. OP, you have clear answer above. So are you applying for ME Non O That is a visa valid for 12 months and yes you do not want to apply for that too early.
  23. Has never failed for me. Online has so I use mail as a plan B. As posted earlier I do online when 15 day window opens and if do not receive approval within few days I use mail. Never had an issue.
  24. We see many folk opting for extension based on retirement that have option of based on marriage. Guess it's just down to less requirements and paperwork.
