    You need to apply for non O with 15+ days remaining on you permit. Some offices longer eg CM 21 days + Hence some folk apply for 30 day extension to visa exempt entry. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only. Which immigration office.     Yes. CW apply the current rules. You stay overnight in another province or exit Thailand and in both examples have continuous permission of stay then a TM30 is not required. Posts from random folk about what their immigration office does is waste of time. Everyone needs to be aware of their own immigration office "rules"

    What about home visit? A single entry non O from Savannakhet would give you a 90 day stamp and subsequently you could obtain a 12 month extension. You could delay current extension date by obtaining 60 day extension to visit wife

    Why does it have to be 13 May. Why you going to Savannakhet. To obtain another single entry non O ? You could do a border bounce obtain 30 day visa exempt stamp. Extend that stamp by 30 then extend by 60 days to visit wife

    No insurance is required for annual extensions to a non O based on retirement. Insurance is required for extensions from a non O-A based on retirement

    If refused visa at Savannakhet how do you plan to reenter Thailand. Think you have used 2 visa exempt via land. Last resort suggest flight to CNX try to enter visa exempt via airport. Basically time to leave Thailand. You mentioned that you are young. Spend time in Vietnam. You are also visa exempt entry there

    You are reading it correctly. My post was incorrect. Silly error. @scoutman360 be aware of my error. You can obtain your 12 month extension up till expiry of your current stamp

    You most likely aware.... At CW they have photocopy/print/photo lower level. 4 photos for 100b instant service. Also if you tell photocopy person you are obtaining reentry permit, they know what pages of pp copies are required.

    You are in very poor situation. No visa exempt entries via land available. Already used. You also have the dreaded non O based on volunteering in history. What is your age. Very few options. A break from Thailand is obvious. An PE (Elite) visa. Marriage. Return to Sweden and after break obtain a METV.

    You have a 90 day permission of stay. You can obtain a reentry permit to exit and reenter. The until date on that permit will be same as your current stamp. Cost 1000b single and 3800b multiple. Can obtain at immigration office or airport.

    So let's understand this this thread. You are asking on behalf of a "friend" regarding TM30 requirement in particular when the friend has used agent to obtain an extension from immigration office in province the friend does not live.
