Immigration closure for Songkran
DrJack54 replied to lelapin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
From AI....."During Songkran 2025, which falls on April 13-15, the Jomtien Immigration Office will likely be closed. It's advisable to handle any immigration matters before these dates to avoid potential disruptions". .... Personally I would avoid the whole week. Pattaya does extended Songkran craziness -
They do not require 72 hours in advance. As per usual it's lost in translation. @brewsterbudgen posted useful link earlier in thread. Here is cut and paste from that .... "The TDAC form can be completed in no earlier than 3 days before your planned entry into ThailandThe system will automatically open the calendar based on today's date, and you can then select an arrival date within the next three days"

90 day report online rejected again
DrJack54 replied to DaRoadrunner's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It seems that some genius came up with idea to sync TM30 with TM47 after trip abroad. Subsequently required 90 day report in person and new TM30. Some offices made the TM30 optional. As they do. -
That has been mentioned. One of 2 things will happen. The option to being able to enter "Thailand" OR just put your passport country. I see that as a minor issue. I did a mock application and for country of residence I put my pp country. If address was required I would put my sister's joint or if I had no sister I would put made up address. Think of the old TM6 the address of where you stay is basically a nonsense. Again ...back to your average tourist not a lot remain in same location. Guessing for some the first night or two Bangkok then after that and after that they move about.

It can't be an issue. If it was then the system would be fundamental floored. As pointed out. The vast majority of entries to Thailand are Tourists. Many of these guys obtain 30 day extension so an exit flight withing 60 days (visa exempt entry). So if TDAC require a flight out for many it will be ghost ticket
-
You do one for every entry to Thailand. I mentioned border bounce in a previous post. So presumably you would do your TDAC couple of days prior to border run. As for entering Thailand visa exempt thinking details of flight out of Thailand within 60 days would be best option. Hopefully can be fictitious flight as many folk obtain extension or bounce

Yes easy read. It points out that no option of "country of residence" being Thailand and some "modifications" will be along. Surely that would have been obvious. In addition for the expats living in Thailand and trip to home country or anywhere, most likely will not have an exit (return flight) from Thailand. If leaving it blank works fine. Doubt it.

I guess some folk have done a mock run at the fill in "form" I just did (up to a point) Some minor issues: When it came to nationality I typed AU. Easy except it then auto filed +61 start of phone #. Could not change to Thai #. So put made up Oz cell # For address I put fictitious one and accepted. Asks for entry date, flight details etc. No problem however asks for departure information. (flight out) I'm one way as I live in Thailand. Nightmare on elm st #5 Edit: thread running on this in News forum
