  1. Not helping directly with your question....this recent thread has links to "check lists" for docs. https://aseannow.com/topic/1309828-renew-retirement-visa-in-phuket/
  2. It is not non O-A That visa is applied for in home country or where you have permanent resident status.
  3. If that's correct why even post your OP. You would be aware of the options and have already been covered in thread. Move on
  4. If yor pp country provides embassy income letter then then is no issue. Income method 65k per month is hardly enough to live on..
  5. Your plan is possible however think after the METV best to use border visa exempt entries after that. Still better since you are over 50.. Enter visa exempt or tourist visa and obtain non O and subsequent extension. If you don't have the financials use an agent
  6. Hope you obtain the advice you are asking. I do not regard your OP as credible
  7. Still not clear ...however seems you require a non O based on retirement and subsequent 12 month extension. Most likely also to opened bank account in your name only also. What is current status in Thailand. Meaning how did you enter Thailand? Visa exempt, Tourist visa and how many days left on your permission of stay. Both those entries can be extended by 30 days. Here is one thread there are several. https://aseannow.com/topic/1285997-visa-agent-pattaya/ If you have your own funds it is not difficult to do it yourself.
  8. Turns out you "want to use their other service" If it's example extension retirement or whatever just say so. This was my first post in this thread. "OP, helps if you outline exactly what you require and where you are located." That was given 2 confused emoji There are many threads on agents, even region specific Just requires clear info in the OP
  9. Not interested in Samui. There are approx 75 immigration offices. Have stated often (even in this thread) you need to be aware of the requirements of your own immigration office. They vary.
  10. True TM30 is not required. The fact that some offices may require it is another matter. Sadly one needs to be aware what rules their immigration runs with For my extensions at CW TM47 was never required. For the last 2 it has been required.
  11. Asean Now That's not to say variations don't occur. In previous few posts.... one guy had to do TM30 at Jomitien and one did not.
  12. Ridiculous that you expect that.
  13. At the member that post laugh emoji. Better option is to advise OP. Go for it show your expert advice.
  14. So both people are non Thai? 800k together is wrong. Assume she can withdraw from joint account and should do that asap. This thread is very strange. May avoid advice as its confusing
  15. There are MANY folk living in Thailand with various under the radar income not earned working in Thailand. What you describe is common. The added bonus is that being married to a Thai is that you can live in Thailand on extensions from a non O based on marriage. Don't listen to all the nonsense about changes to tax laws.
  16. OP, helps if you outline exactly what you require and where you are located. Way to vague.
  17. Dont follow your OP. If it's two people with two extensions why did they use a joint account. With the required funds in bank why did they need an agent. In any event as the husband has passed then a new account should be opened (same bank ok) in the ladies name. Meet the financial requirements for extension using this new account
  18. Agree with your post.. To put it in perspective....Oz 10 yr pp is one of the more expensive pp - 11000b. When you work it out, costs me ~ 90b a month for my Oz pp Talk about penny wise pound foolish, folk are well advised renew pp with months remaining on validity
  19. It is frustrating but in actual fact it's only a few offices that have ignored the change in rules. CM being one culprit.
  20. No. If one is maintaining ongoing permission of stay by extensions (eg retirement/marriage) then a new TM30 is not required every time they apply for extension
  21. Have TM30 with you for 30 day extension Also check what they require for address for the non O
  22. From your above post I notice you have already had funds in bank for more than 2 months. You need to get confirmation from Jomtien that they will process the non O application. You could do at same day as application for 30 day extension.
  23. Would seem you only have 15 days left on your visa exempt entry. That is not enough hence need to obtain extension. There is also a problem with that at Jomtien immigration. Some reports of them only providing the 30 day extension close to expiry of your permission of stay. You need to check with Jomitien if they are doing non O from visa exempt entry.
  24. Obtain Non-O Visa in ... - Pattaya City Expats Club https://pcec.club/Applying-for-Non-Immigrant-O-Retirement Above link is to Pattaya City Expats Club.
