  1. That would be up to 30 days early. Since your immigration office is helpful and friendly, suggest you see them asap to discuss options. Immigration offices can process your application earlier than stated rule. Showing them flight ticket to UK would help. Just go to the horses mouth so to speak. Edit: if you haven't used your one 60 day extension to visit wife, immigration may suggest that.
  2. As others have pointed out "no such rule" You fall back position of referring to MFA and foreign embassy web sites (esp UK) is laughable.
  3. MFA introduced nothing. Thai immigration made the change to 60 days VE entry and placed in gazette. Thai immigration is be responsible for admission into Thailand. As always that will be at discretion of immigration officer.
  4. End of. Not wasting any more on chit chat. Yes you can according to who? Don't tell me MFA. Laughable
  5. No surprise. As MFA does not make immigration laws and certainly do not speak for immigration officers at airports or land borders. What don't you understand. Visa exempt entries via air are already unlimited. Can you use them to have continuous stay in Thailand? No. Will you be able to live in Thailand using ongoing visa exempt via land? No
  6. And what did you do? Step away from check in and book a flight? Your experience does match MANY others. Just one example above this post. Your experience is isolated.
  7. You are assuming that the visa exemption will be 60 days ongoing. I don't see it that way. You also over stating the reference to 90 day reporting after trips out of Thailand. You can do TM47 via mail.
  8. Here is a thread specific to CM. Excellent OP, even though few years back https://aseannow.com/topic/1224751-marriage-visa-extension-guide-chiang-mai/
  9. Funds required for 2 months prior to application and maintained during under consideration period. Which immigration office
  10. OP, just to be 100% clear .. you are looking for agent to cover the financial requirements? Are your previous stamps issued by CW or elsewhere
  11. Of course you can fly out/in same day as you had a multi entry visa. The OP has extensive history of visa exempt entry and is asking if another VE can be done via air in same day. Answer: huge risk
  12. This change should have been worded more like this.... "The limit of 2 visa exempt entries via land per calendar year has been removed" That brings it into line with VE via air. No stated limit. Are folk able to have continuous stay in Thailand ongoing using VE via air possible. Answer : No Will folk now be able to border bounce every 90 days (60+ extension) ongoing. Answer: No
  13. First up you are replying to very old thread. Sadly ubonjoe has passed. The requirement is clear. 800k baht or equivalent in Thai bank account. Immigration very strict on this. Weekends have nothing to do with this clear requirement.
  14. You are not even looking at emoji to your threads. Making statements that lack understanding.. Just one example refer to post above from @bigt3116 His post is accurate and some of your posts the opposite.
  15. It means that if you try and do back to back visa exempt entries via air and also now via land borders you will eventually be refused entry. Not so critical for land border entry. Very inconvenient for entry via air. Expunge the idea "unlimited entries" Won't happen
  16. Just exit. No TM47 is checked at airport. Also you are within the requirement dates for reporting
  17. Yet another tax thread ... All covered in another forum.
  18. That would only be my opinion. Repeat back to back entries via airports with little time out of Thailand will eventually lead to refused entry. Visa exempt entry via airports has No Stated Limit. That does not equate to "unlimited visa exempt entries" BTW : you stated this regarding unsubstantiated post previously. "Video from immigration - waiting for the copy." Post facts or not at all. Still waiting
  19. Yourself along with so many others have read too much into the word "unlimited". Better that immigration just stated two visa exempt entries per calendar year Removed. Making it exactly same as visa exempt via air that has no stated limit. As usual it's the io discretion re granting entry. This is not a green light. BTW Thai embassies/consulates have nothing to do with the price of fish
  20. For the laugh emoji... The OP has a valid visa. The airline at departure for his flight this week to Thailand will not ask to see return or onward flight. Nor will the io upon landing in Thailand. Have different advice ...post away
  21. Onward/Return ticket not required. You have a valid visa
  22. With previous 8 months+ of living in Thailand on visa exempt entries and the you fly Bangkok to Cambodia return same day for another visa exempt entry? It's all about the history of continuous stay
  23. Her advice is correct. A good follow up question would have been ..."is a TM30 required with the 90 report done via mail option. The answer should be No..
  24. OP, why would you even consider this as an option. Currently visa exempt entries are 60 days and can be extended by 30 days. Your options depend on history in Thailand and on what visas/visa exempt stays.
