  1. Nothing to remedy Immigration should (CW certainly does) accept Bank Letter and Bank Statements days prior to application. The fact I deposit on day of application and the balance slightly different than Bank Letter is not an issue. I ask teller to photocopy last page of bb also of course have bankbook as hard copy.
  2. Indeed Bangkok Bank requires 5-7 days to provide 12 month bank statement. Other banks on the spot. My bank Kasikorn just one example. Immigration should accept Bank Statement and Bank Letter up to 7 days early. Some offices want an update on day of application. Also "activity" on day of application. Personally I make 100b on day of application.
  3. Along with reports of some io asking for flight out of Thailand within 60 days and accommodation details. Not long ago some people shouting from rooftops the new "Unlimited" land border entries. Perhaps not so Rosey now
  4. Interesting. My last extension (Nov) I attended my Kasikorn bank couple of days prior to application for extension. I made a withdrawal and asked for 12 months bank statement. She replied..."this withdrawal (today) will not be shown on the statement" She knew it was immigration as was also doing the "bank letter"
  5. Certainly would be waiting for more reports. Met young guy (not long ago UK) Had just entered Thailand via BKK with a DVD just obtained eVisa (granted issued in UK) He also was online worker option. Zero issue at immigration on arrival. I wonder how soft power power folk will show eg Muay Thai portfolio. Some snaps in the gym?
  6. @Sheryl may have some suggestions or point you to one of the pinned threads
  7. That's correct. I mixed up my post. The 90 start from previous due date is only for reporting via mail. I will edit my post.
  8. Good news. CW can sometimes take much longer than 9 days. 15 is common.. Re backdated....online reporting and in person gives new report date from date of application. Via mail the new 90 starts from previous due date. Edit: This post has been corrected.
  9. From your own OP... "I talked to a befriended lawyer who said normally there should be no issues, worst case would be an extended stay in Cambodia and apply for a tourist visa e-visa online. However, I would like to avoid this route." You stated that you did not want to obtain eVisa then swipe at vip treatment to border bounce. So bottom line ...did you obtain border bounce visa exempt entry 60 days.
  10. Yes. Process outlined in detail in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/
  11. Who are you directing this to? Certainly not the OP.
  12. Trolling post removed. @PomPolo thanks for clarification. Perhaps start separate thread when your dates are clear.
  13. You can work while on Non O marriage or 12 month extension based on marriage. You do require a work permit. https://aseannow.com/topic/1308996-non-immigrant-o-visa-and-work-permit/
  14. As per usual form you contribute zero. It is @PomPolo that has posted incorrect dates as pointed out by Upnotover in few posts asking for clarification.
  15. The OP started off that way. At some point realized that his best option is to renew his annual extension and obtain reentry permit for trip back to Holland. His concern is not having a rental agreement. Even that part is not clear. He states..... "Dr Jack thank you for advice.. I will focus now on a1 year extension . Last year and also beforeI had a rent agreement. They wanted to see that and copied it"
  16. OP have good read of couple of posts from @Upnotover I ignored the dates in your posts. Put it down to typos.
  17. No. Keep in mind that when you applied for the Non O they checked your paperwork and gave you a return date. The under consideration is just a formality. You have your Non O just return on date for final stamp. In couple of months apply for your 12 month extension. The critical thing they check for extension is financials.
  18. Sometimes the reason to buy time is to season funds for extension. Married folk can obtain 60 day extension to visa wife to facilitate that. Your suggestion of exiting Thailand to reenter visa exempt would kill off his non O and ability to obtain 12 month extensions.
  19. When you obtain a new passport then yes your old pp is cancelled. However note any valid visa, permission of stay stamp, reentry permit etc remain valid. You can just wait till you do your next extension to have visa info etc transfered. If you have any business with immigration office eg 90 day report etc you can do the transfers at that time. Which immigration office.
  20. Yes and that's exactly what uj posted few years back. At the time I questioned if the 400k had to go back up to 800k for the two months prior to next extension. The answer was NO. Seems both the OP and myself (I'm doing same thing) are aware we can just maintain the 400k till next extension however have opted to "play it safe" by going back up to 800k two months prior to application. Covers both methods
  21. Am I reading this correctly. Currently located in the UK. Plan is for him to come to Thailand for rehab (3 months) and then live in Spain. You must be a good friend (seriously) However a saying we have in Oz springs to mind..."Buckley's and None"
  22. Not this attached thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1336657-how-about-some-diy-optometry-yes-im-in-the-right-forum/
  23. 42 positive emoji (+1 from me) and not one negative for your post. Surprised more haven't posted similar idea to what you suggested. Perhaps cremated here and ashes returned to home country.
  24. OP, very good first reply above. To add, it can depend on what stamp (status) you have in pp. Many just having a visa exempt stamp and looking for another visa exempt entry. Some having an extension or non O expiring and want another 60 days. For me the advice would be to use a minivan border run company (agent)
  25. If you border bounce you will receive a 60 day visa exempt entry stamp. Then when return from Holland you would need start over. Obtain new non O from visa exempt entry. That's possible but messy. They should. Perhaps they want a bribe.
