  1. Posts in English language removed x 3. Quit
  2. The OP is asking how many flights are required for METV e-Visa application. Also if onward flight can be within 90 days given that each 60 day stamp entry can be extended by 30 days. (genuine questions) Nothing to do with circumventing.
  3. The airline most likely would require onward flight within 60 days. One option is "rent a ticket" Search "onwardticket.com" Process for visa exempt to Non O marriage outlined here., https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/ Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only?
  4. Yes this is how visas are obtained now. Referred to as e-Visa. Just provide the information as required in the application. You need to be in Vietnam to apply. Did you consider entering Thailand visa exempt and obtaining the Non O at local immigration office. Are you planning on obtaining a 12 month extension after the Non O Both options now have financial requirements.
  5. Certainly obtaining the non O in Thailand from visa exempt entry is an option. Especially as the OP already has a Thai bank account. The Non O retirement obtained in Oz is also very simple 3-4 day e-Visa application. Avoids extra trip to immigration office. Outlined here.... https://aseannow.com/topic/1341080-anyone-done-a-retirement-visa-o-or-oa-online-recently/
  6. That also is not urgent. Next time you attend teller they will update bank details. Just transfer stamps when 90 report due
  7. As I posted earlier. I attended CW when 90 report due. At same time had stamps transferred. There is no urgency to transfer stamps Regarding online 90 reporting app. . I did not do new registration. I used previous account. Entered new pp number and then the required fields.
  8. No. That rubbish was done at Jomitien and actually never checked. It's a back door check for compliance to financial requirements. Not sure how it would pan out for folks using an agent for extensions (retirement) Thinking those folk would leave transfer of stamps to the agent. Possibly done at time of next annual extension.
  9. Also when I did this at CW they made me go down to lower level to update bankbook. Fortunately do not use SCB. Ridiculous. Never previously required.
  10. Have you had stamps etc transfered for old pp to new? You could wait till 90 report window is open and do transfers + report on same visit
  11. OP you can exit prior to the 180 and reenter as per your plan. Suggest many will do that The DTV is a multi entry visa.
  12. Argumentive replies from OP. Thread closed
  13. Where would you be living in Thailand? Also is the plan to live ongoing in Thailand.
  14. You can obtain the Non O in Oz. Money in bank can be in Au bank. Keep in mind that to obtain the extension you would apply in last 30 days of the 90 day stamp that you will receive upon entry to Thailand. Note the 800k would need to be in your Thai bank for 2 months. Note: since you have a Thai bank account in place you could even enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain the Non O at local immigration office. I also use WISE for transfers from Oz. You mentioned "send money to my family" is that marriage to Thai national?;
  15. https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ Go to "other visas" ...there you will find it. Aside: do you have a Thai bank account in your name only? Passport country? Note: you can obtain a Non O retirement from visa exempt entry at your immigration office in Thailand. Outlined in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/ One advantage in obtaining the Non O outside of Thailand is that having a Non O in passport makes opening bank account more simple.
  16. Great that's 6+ months out of Thailand. Perhaps you may end up deciding to enter visa exempt
  17. You can book as early as you wish.
  18. What does very early mean? Do you mean decreases amount of time spent out of Thailand. Depends on your history. For border runs seems now best advice is to use border run company. They facilitate smooth process. Recent reports of folk being made to stay 1-2 nights out of Thailand. Even at Nong Khai. Err on the safe side. Thinking 3 better option. Haven't read any reports re process time. As per first reply....what does very early mean
  19. When you attend immigration for annual extension using money in bank method the immigration officer should check carefully at the banking records back till previous extension. I can confirm (personal experience) that the io even looked at the two months PRIOR to day of last application. If someone used an agent for previous extension then there is no proof of compliance. One way out of this is to "start over"
  20. Will stir up some Canadians. In any event since they accepted your money in bank +monthly transfers you dont need the embassy letter..
  21. Assume that your wife is non Thai seems she you are trying to "piggyback" her on your extension as a dependent. She needs to have entered Thailand on a Non O. What's the plan re future. To live ongoing in Thailand?
  22. Of course the Stamps are issued by immigration office. The agents obtain extensions based on retirement. The financial requirements are checked retrospectively. Immigration should have seen that the requirements were not met.
