  1. What visa are you after. There is no Multiple Entry Non O (now) You could consider a Non O + 12 month extension. However that has financial requirements. For a 5 1/2 month stay not sure if that's best option. If this 5 1/2 per year is planned to be ongoing then yes a Non O + annual extensions is an option
  2. The OP was applying for a Non O NOT an extension. He only required 400k in bank on day of application.
  3. There is no longer a limit of two visa exempt entries via land per calendar year.
  4. In your opinion. In any event off topic. The topic concerns a request from io to apply for Non O with minimum 2 months after marriage. BTW yet to see that requirement stated anywhere in official rules.
  5. With good reason. The airline at departure and also immigration on arrival check out the e-Visa details against the passport carefully. I found the account from OP at border crossing strange however seems that's the way it's done at border . Would not work via air.
  6. I will find someone through the grapevine. Regards advice to do it yourself or use company that includes assembly that won't cut it . The furniture I want is specific and the company does not provide assembly. Thanks for suggestions. Thread closed.
  7. He will require 15/21 days for Non O application as you correctly posted in this attached thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1342849-tourist-visa-exempt-then-apply-for-non-o-based-on-marriage/#findComment-19365691 Regarding applying for a non O with less than 2 months marriage, I don't doubt Tod advice above however there have been posts that the 2 month for length of marriage has not been required. I would like to read the rule of "two months minimum marriage to obtain a Non O" I have not seen that The OP has two options. Obtain a 60 day extension (best option) OR Obtain Non O from nearby consulate/embassy
  8. So there is some flat pack furniture that I want however assembly not available. It's not just one item. Sideboard, TV cabinet, etc I have no trouble finding most trades for make overs. Any suggestions for this in Din Daeng area for this type of work. Thailand Culture Center. Ta.
  9. Possibly you did not have the minimum 15 days validity remaining that is required. The io most likely directed you to the 60 day extension as a work around.
  10. It's not ideal however suggest that you obtain the 60 day extension "to visit wife". With the 30+60 gives you enough time to satisfy the io fictional married for 2 months. Remember to apply for the Non O marriage with minimum 15 days remaining on your permission of stay. Good luck. You will get there.
  11. I have never seen that. Did the io suggest that you could apply for 60 day extension"to visit wife" That would buy time. How many days remaining on current permission of stay?
  12. Be my guest but you are wasting your time. The application for first extension starts the clock. In any event here is link for 90 day report at CW. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ It works a treat. The desk for queue ticket is far right side. The io will check your form and printout of booking confirmation. You will be seen straight away.
  13. Hopefully Laos will at some point enable online payment for the e-Visa eliminating the need to even attend the immigration office.
  14. Some misinformation in this thread. Posts from @BrandonJTare correct. OP your count for first 90 report starts when you apply for your extension. That's why I asked if you plan on obtaining a 12 month extension. As mentioned in couple of posts some immigration offices do the 90 reports when folk apply for future extensions. In actual fact apart from first extension 90 day reports have nothing to do with annual extensions.
  15. Here is a thread that contains several links to threads along with immigration requirements. So you are the legal father with court ruling and child lives with you? https://aseannow.com/topic/1327020-extension-of-stay-based-on-having-a-thai-child/
  16. It's referred to as "transferring stamps" Visa information is also entered into new passport. Regarding the bank book showing financial compliance....yes, that is required at CW and no doubt some other offices. Photocopies of pages back to current extension along with updated bank account. This is a new requirement.
  17. Why on earth would anyone do that. As pointed out previously. Oz pp can be renewed online. Yes you need to go to post office to post it to Oz embassy at Bangkok or CM. The new pp will be sent to you mailing address. No need to attend embassy and no need to send current pp. In my case from posting to Bangkok embassy till receive new pp in mail was 20 days.
  18. So let's be clear on this. You applied for Non O marriage e-Visa. Paid fee to Vientiane Thai embassy on Friday and received the e-Visa on Saturday. The next day? You then did not print it out and entered Thailand visa exempt? How many days were you stamped in for. 60? How/when do you plan to activate your Non O ?
  19. Post from @thai006 "I've use this service last week to enter Thailand with many visa exemption and they let me in about 20 second" https://www.facebook.com/share/1FizuBRMxL/ OP, if you plan to enter Thailand visa exempt via air best deal directly with agent such as this link posted.
