  1. CW does not do a 90 day report when you apply for new annual extension. The only exception is your very first extension.
  2. What! You presented a USA pp. You are entitled to visa exempt entry. This thread is about DTV
  3. The "other gate keeper" is wrong. True USA pp holders can enter Thailand visa exempt along with MANY other countries. Airline issuing boarding pass can insist upon onward flight
  4. No. For application for non O retirement from a visa exempt entry can require home visit. No home visit would be required for 12 month extension based on retirement Re home drawn map.... required map is a long standing requirement at CW.
  5. https://aseannow.com/topic/1334004-interview-with-the-deputy-director-general-of-the-consular-department-about-dtv/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1334086-do-dtv-holders-need-to-buy-return-ticket/
  6. If your application was processed and you were given a report back date then yes, the application will be approved. As for home visit. That's possible and you would have supplied cell # at application and they ring to advise home visit
  7. The 90 report has nothing to do with extension. Having stated that there are few immigration offices that do a 90 report when you do an annual extension. Which immigration office?
  8. Are you asking about a border bounce for visa exempt entry to Thailand? If yes avoid PoiPet
  9. The thread heading reads "60 days" Is this 60 day extension to visit wife?
  10. Answer above correct. I don't see any issue. You previously used a METV exactly how it's designed purpose and now last stay enter visa exempt and can show a flight out of Thailand. No issue
  11. The METV was introduced years back and the double and triple entry tourist visas removed. Important to note that you can only obtain a METV in country of your passport or where you have Resident status. Ignore lot of information from UK Current thread running on visa exempt entry.... https://aseannow.com/topic/1333235-60-day-visa-exemptions-are-now-unlimited-at-land-borders/
  12. OP, ignore the email you posted. How long do you wish to visit Thailand?
  13. Correct returned to airport of origin and often passenger ends up paying for the flight. Airline can also be fined.
  14. Walk in fine. Here is thread with advice at CM. https://aseannow.com/topic/1302931-first-visa-extension-based-on-marriage-chiang-mai/
  15. You haven't lost the plot. There is two words that has caused many folk to jump to misunderstanding change. A better statement would have been something like.,.."rule limit of 2 visa exempt via land/sea per calendar year removed" Instead they announced "unlimited border exempt entries " All this change does it to bring visa exempt land border entries into line with entry via Air. That reduces down to "no stated limit and up to the immigration officer discretion"
