  1. OP, it's hit and miss and depends on immigration office. Even then each immigration office can change from day to day. There may be an issue with online 90 reporting if you don't make a new TM30. One option is to skip it and do your TM47 via mail.
  2. No. Read what I post at start re "piggyback". Also UK embassy does not provide income letter. They would both need to show 12 months of 65k per month. They need to start over. What is total monthly budget in Thailand? Don't wish to sound rude however poor planning.
  3. As I mentioned. You can't just switch to extension DYI. Immigration check financial requirements retrospectively. They cannot show compliance for previous 12 months. Suggest they continue with agent. Guessing first gig was Non O + extension. Next time it would be extensions only. Cheaper.
  4. Need to be clear., Seems that they both used an agent to obtain Non O (retirement) and subsequent 12 month extensions. You cannot just magically switch from agent extensions to DIY. You need to be very clear. BTW: It is not "their extension" It is two completely separate Non O + extension. What did it cost to be clear 60k ? Did you use a Hua Hin agent
  5. Does not have to be wife piggyback on husbands extensions (retirement) Can be other way around. Where is husband currently. Fall back option is for him to use agent. Where in Thailand will they be based.
  6. That's one option. If wife can obtain a Non O (dependant) prior to entering Thailand she could piggyback on husbands extensions from his Non O based on retirement as his dependant.
  7. Yes you are referring to "opportunity cost" of locking up 800k. As for bypassing that by a "fee" ... we already have that via use of agents. 13-15k You can obtain the "bank letter" same visit as picking up the 12 month bank statement. I changed from obtaining the bank letter on day of application as finding the banks at CW can now be busy. No que for general teller where you can make small deposit on the day of application and that also updates bankbook.
  8. OP, thinking you should do TM30 and 90 day reporting for where you live. See attached thread. Not same situation however @brewsterbudgen also lives in different province to where he works. Does address reports in one province and annual extensions in Bangkok. https://aseannow.com/topic/1350181-new-passport/#findComment-19547732
  9. Think you will find that all your entry history to Thailand will show up. In any event think your plan to exit and reenter via air showing the DTV e-Visa will be ok.
  10. Bangkok Bank cannot provide 12 month bank statements "on the spot" I read a post just recent that someone's statement took 3 days. In any event you can provide a bank statement that is up to 7 days old on day of application. Despite reading some posts of guys using money in bank method that CW has accepted the photocopies of the pages and bank book. I'm suggesting that CW will push for the 12 month bank statements moving forward. I have provided that for my last 2 extensions at CW. Cost is 200b and done on the spot by most banks. I obtain mine couple of days prior to attending CW.
  11. You can bring signed copy of Thai ID and Bluebook
  12. That's well and good however my bank book using money in bank (CW retirement) was fine with some months of zero transactions for first 11 years then out of blue last two extensions ago io was upset about 2 random months with no entries. To make matters worse various posters stating that bank book was sufficient at CW. As per post from @Digitalbanana above yours. I asked the io that if I made sure every month had an entry would that be OK. Reply : "have 12 month bank statement "
  13. Which immigration office do you use. As pointed out above....booking slots at CW don't have lot of slots.
  14. There are no concerns. Folk cite that for PE visa application overstay is to be avoided. However you are referring to 2 overstays of one day. You will have a stamp indicating that. Should not receive a 500b fine, however have that on hand
  15. In that case the owner of the apartment can provide you with a TM30. If you are doing a lease then also provide that to immigration when you apply for your 12 month extension. As you are aware the Non O e-Visa you obtained (smart play) will give you a 90 day stamp. Have a hard copy print out of the e-Visa to show airline at departure and Thai immigration when arrived. Check your stamp from the io is 90 days You will be applying for the extension after funds have been in bank for 2 months. You can sort out TM30 etc after you arrive. My thai partner has rentals and takes only couple of minutes to provide the TM30 to tenants.
  16. Your concern is very understandable. If for some reason you do not receive the DTV in time, suggest that you just stick with travel plans and enter Thailand visa exempt (it's not visa on arrival) If your DTV is subsequently approved and you have the e-Visa print out then you should be able to exit Thailand and reenter with the visa. Do not do that via land border.
  17. So bring us up to speed. Read back through the thread. To be clear... You will enter Thailand with a Non O e-Visa? You indicated earlier that were staying in wife's house and now refer to "having rented an apartment"
  18. Not sure what your concerns are. For the application for the Non O after you arrive has various requirements. Very straightforward. One is proof of address. Most folk provide a TM30. Providing a lease is a bonus. What "other requirements" for extension are you concerned about?
  19. Why isn't the landlord doing the TM30
  20. Trolling post removed
  21. Spot on advice also rest of your post. The OP should be concerned more with need for emergency travel doc if indeed that's required to exit Thailand. Previous thread indicated pp expired. In any event....OP "leave dodge" Forget the divorce. Optional extra.
  22. A year ago you had a thread re passport renewal while on overstay. Also a tread re obtaining an Elite Visa with overstay few months ago. Suggest you skip the divorce get to airport with flight to pp country and pay 20k fine. You will receive ban .
  23. Easier to divorce Amphur where you were married. Uncontested divorced discussed in this thread.,....
  24. Perhaps you had an FD account. At CW I was made to obtain 12 month bank statement for my (immigration dedicated) savings account. Reason given was that there was 2 months without any transactions. Ridiculous but they never fail to surprise me.
