  1. Agent in Pattaya will prefer/insist on BBL and specific branch. To open an account is ~4700 Extension ~ 13k There are no hoops. Tell him to walk into an agent for first hand advice. Soi 13/2 agent is handy off beach Rd and bank nearby.
  2. Have used FD account previously. Currently satisfying money in bank + income method with plan to change to income method next extension. For that require savings account.
  3. From OP first post...... "because of my own negligence, I miss calculated the amount of money I should kept in my account . Yep I know pretty stupid A" Actually I'm in similar boat. Obtained last extension Nov and said to Thai partner "all good for another year. Next day she dipped the 800k under by 1500. Immigration are so strict on this.
  4. @Tod Daniels may have helpful info. Hopefully he can organize funds in bank to base next extension on retirement and avoid "starting over" His current permission of stay is still valid (unlike divorce) When does current stamp expire
  5. OP, damn horrible situation. It would seem at some point you will need to change to money in bank method. Can you deposit 400k into your Thai bank account?
  6. Not sure I follow. If the OP, made an error with financial compliance then immigration will not (generally) overlook that.
  7. TM47 in person can be done up to 2 weeks prior to due date and one week past due date. Avoid late submission.
  8. Yes it does. BTW: USA embassy does not providd income letter. You would need to show 12 months of 65k + transfers. Forget income method for first extension of Non O No. Why not obtain the Non O e-Visa in USA. The 800k can be in foreign bank account. With a Non O you will be able to open Thai bank account after you arrive. When you enter Thailand with the Non O you will be stamped in for 90 day permission of stay. After funds have been in Thai bank account you apply for 12 month extension. Note: if your plan is to live ongoing in Thailand with annual extensions and you want to use income method then you would start the monthly transfers in addition to maintaining the money in bank financial requirements. Then for next extension change to income.
  9. Visas are never transfered. The details of the Visa be it eg Non O or Non O-A etc are noted in first page of new pp. Stamps such as reentry permit etc are entered into new pp. Fresh stamp. The last extension stamp details will also be transferred.
  10. You are asking two basically unrelated questions. The stamp transfer and visa information can be transferred. Does not require pp with original Visa. There is no appointment for that at CW. It will be done at extension L desks. Here is form CW use. The required docs at bottom. Be aware that CW also now require Bank Book with print outs and update. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=939160&key=2e63bc0d8abee18369df31b777516cb4 Re LTR..suggest deal with that separately
  11. OP, correct answer above. Just note that it will be in person when/if you reach your "new" due date.
  12. You are being messed around by rogue office. To obtain a Non O from visa exempt entry the funds do not require seasoning. That's a unique Jomtien load of crock. In any event you still have an issue. The application for the Non O requires 15 days remaining on permission of stay. With a 60 visa, exempt entry +30 day extension that not enough if io insists on 3 months (crazy) As again about 60 extension to visit wife. In hindsight you would have been best to obtain Non O marriage e-Visa from Vientiane. Current thread about that.
  13. Fine. Agent can obtain new extension.
  14. Agent in this instance means anyone eg friend relative or agent. The latter is best option if involves trip to Bangkok or CM. You didn't read the thread. From the OP..... "Current passport expires in 2029. I plan to return to the UK next year" He only has couple of spare pages and wishing to travel to other countries Incorrect. As has been pointed out OP can use an agent if that's best option. Especially if it involves trip to Bangkok.
  15. Extension from that agent is 12,500baht. However what about what Maneerat told you about pp with added pages.... "She told me that the extended passport is actually not a normal passport (even if it looks exactly like one)" Seems agent cannot assist you.
  16. So... a 12 month bank statement from BBL on the spot. Did the bank stamp the statement pages and sign?
  17. Seems that you did not provide a TM30? Lease is often provided/required for extension (not always)
  18. https://pcec.club/CHECKLISTS-Extensions-of-Stay The link above is from "Pattaya city expats" Note: this point.... "Copy of Proof of Residence documents (Rental Agreement, House Book, Company documents if Company owned, etc.) There have been some reports that a current Thai Driving License showing current address has been accepted (address is on reverse side), but will depend on Immigration Officer taking the application. In the case of a rental agreement, they may also want to see copy of Thai owner ID (or non-Thai’s passport identity page) and a copy of owner’s house book for the property. "
  19. Exactly. Any immigration office accepting printed out statements from banking app are just ignorant.
  20. Thinking a dedicated account for immigration is good idea. Especially for money in bank method. That aside I always suggest to basically avoid BBL for the sole reason of the nonsense with obtaining bank statement. Kasikorn (for example) can provide 12 month statement on the spot. They also (same as BBL) are partner bank with WISE. etc Also have the 2mill baht limit.
  21. 30 min. Pathum Thani Just posting for others. Immigration should not accept printed out statements from bank app. So do not rely on that. Obtain the 12 month statement from your bank. Can be done on the spot however does take 20-30mins. Unfortunately for BBL customers you need to order it in advance 3-5 days. Cost for statement 200b
  22. You are bit of an outliner. Most expats in Thailand just visit Vietnam. Regards the OP "news".... Personally don't think attractive visa options to Vietnam would push them (expats) to uproot. As for tourists.... Vietnam already a better option IMO.
