  1. Pretty much the only thing that an agent could assist with the financial requirements. For anyone 50+ the agent would insist upon extension based on retirement being better option. Most would flat out not assist with extensions marriage unless it was purely to assist with the paperwork.
  2. I certainly cannot name one. I don't know any agents that do extensions based on marriage. Sure there are ones that do hand holding exercise but that's about it.
  3. Hope she has a work permit for begging
  4. This expert can advise @Sheryl
  5. Have no idea what's she is on about. Just add this suggestion to your options. Fly out with your US pp and enter Vietnam with UK pp. Think that's possible. Others will confirm. UK pp visa exempt entry to Vietnam. Saigon ripper joint for mini holiday. Return to Thailand visa exempt (it's not VOA) That stamps you in for 30 days. Over 50? Obtain a non O based on retirement. You have a Thai bank account so have 800k in your account on day you apply for non O
  6. More nonsense. The question relates to best visa option at the age of 25. PE visa does not allow work permit. Online work.... yes a possibility.
  7. OP, this thread has an excellent OP Report and also a link from ubonjoe. It concerns Bangkok but the requirements are pretty much standard. You apply at immigration office where you are staying..
  8. Which immigration office? Yes a screenshot of TM30 would be accepted. What is your status in Thailand. A TM30 for certificate of residence is an option. Most offices would accept a TM47 receipt. 90 day report. Note: CW require a 90 day report for certificate of residence
  9. I assume you mean 12 month extension. Should not be required. Not surprised SP has that as a requirement. Crackpot immigration office.
  10. The thing is....let's say you could obtain a tourist visa. That doesn't provide long term stay. If you have money the PE visa (elite visa) would be good fit.
  11. Currently there are very limited options. For example I previously obtained 3 month multi entry to Vietnam. Now not available. Thinking that you could check out Philippines
  12. Was a simple question which you avoided. What service would you be attending immigration. For me it's pretty much once a year for annual extensions..
  13. Correct ..you cannot enter Thailand visa exempt. Don't you need to serve out your current probation prior to international travel. Seriously your post seems nonsensical. At 25 how do you support yourself in Asia. No long term options for you in Thailand.
  14. So why start your thread. As others have pointed out ...you are unaware of the requirements flying without visa and entering visa exempt (it's not visa on arrival) Then post clever (not) way to get around onward flight. Go for it.
  15. Samut Prakan is a rubbish immigration office. Not the only one. BTW you did not indicate what service you were after. If a 30 extension then yes a TM30 would be necessary
  16. First point everything is back to normal since covid. More importantly is that clearly you have no idea regarding flying visa exempt. The airline from Oz most likely will require you to have onward flight within 30 days. Which airline is your flight? Here is recent thread ... https://aseannow.com/topic/1294354-onward-ticket/. https://aseannow.com/topic/1293995-proof-of-onward-travel/
  17. TBH your OP is very naive and certainly not someone with your stated wealth of experience. Perhaps in the past you have obtained a tourist visa to visit Thailand. 20 visits to Thailand and you are not aware of 30 day extension?? As for the other part of carry on....again that's just ignorance. The rules for Jetstar and Virgin clearly stated. No excuse. Which airline are you using from Oz to Thailand. My guess not Virgin
  18. Visa exempt entry is 30 days. You can obtain a 30 day extention from immigration office where you are staying. You will need a TM30 from your hotel. 1900baht. Be aware that for departure your airline will almost certainly require you to show onward/return flight. Jetstar?
  19. No. I have never made a TM30 and never provided house book etc. My first ever extension I provided rental agreement. Also for my first 7 years in Thailand never did a 90 report due to very frequent travel in/out Thailand. Since covid obviously have done 90 day reports and obtained certificate of residence etc . None of which required a TM30.
  20. In 2019 Immigration had change of head guy (big joke). It's the norm in Thailand that when new big boss moves into new position a "change" needs to be demonstrated. It did not last long.
  21. I just now did a dry run on the site I mentioned previously. It literally took seconds to get to the "confirm and pay" They are issued instantly. He will be asked.
  22. You would not miss your flight. You would step away from check in and either book the cheapest flight out of Thailand OR Buy a rent a flight ticket from company such as "onwardfligh.com" Both work. As for you comment about your experience landing in Bangkok and being asked for ticket. That was boarding pass for the flight you arrived on. That's a standard requirement. The onward flight was not required by the io..
  23. Jetstar will ask for onward flight. I suggest explain to clerk at check in that intends to obtain 30 day extension and also show his return flight. Thinking he will be fine. Fall back plan would be to step away from check in and book a flight using companies such as "onwardticket.com" Takes minutes. Obviously needs wifi and card to pay.
