  1. The embassies websites are wrong. There is no such rule. Briefly existed ages ago when Adam was a lad
  2. Don't see the point of your post. I have stated often that CM is rogue on this matter. There obviously will be some others. You typed that you returned with a new visa. Then yes you would need to file a TM30. If you had returned with reentry permit the TM30 would not be required.
  3. Read the post above yours from TallGuyJohn. I have exactly same experience.
  4. You have not read the posts from the guy I quoted. He had been asking about 90 day rule with exit and reentry. Back to back continuous stays
  5. False information. Required TM30 for what service?
  6. CM is rogue office. They have not applied changes to the law made in 2020. Even for overnight + stays is other provinces.
  7. Not on ONE visa exempt entry but back to back of course. It done all the time Enter Thailand by air visa exempt obtain 30 day extension. Do a border run (or flight out/back) for second visa exempt. Plus extension. That's 120 days there. Do another border run plus extension. Outlined in threads daily. There is NO "90 day rule"
  8. You possibly didn't bother reading it. The thread is concerning changes to TM30 rules. That occured in 2020 Specifically para 2.2
  9. I haven't read one. You cannot even state what you were doing at CW that required you to provide a TM30. Personally my most recent 12 month extension last Nov. Few weeks back 90 day report. A certificate of residence. All at CW none required TM30. Also recent trips to Oz and Saigon and trips in other provinces in Thailand. No TM30 required. You are posting misinformation
  10. Here is a few examples I posted earlier. "Demanding for what? Annual extensions? 90 day reports? 30 day extension? Be specific." So what service did you attend CW immigration that required a TM30. Simple question.
  11. Again provide details. What (service) were you doing at CW that required you to provide a TM30. People don't go to CW for the food court.
  12. That should have been answered by the io with "get appropriate visa" In your case parent of Thai child. Visa exempt entries every month would now be problematic especially when you had option for a suitable visa
  13. Post one. Also put context to your posts. "..CW demanding for TM30s again" Demanding for what? Annual extensions? 90 day reports? 30 day extension? Be specific.
  14. Google "non O extensions Thailand" Select "mfa.go.ta" All the various non O visas are listed. For "marriage" and "retirement" think they are #18 and 20. The term marriage is lot referred to. Retirement is. Check it out. Regards your non O-A post and link earlier. ....in the context of this thread the OP would not be applying for a non O-A. Off topic.
  15. Read all immigration guidelines. The various visas such as non O attach a "based on" For non O there are various tags. Common ones are "based on retirement " and "based on marriage". Even the "based on marriage" is shorthand. Based on "over 50" is not mentioned. The over 50 is a requirement same as financials.
  16. Thai immigration refer to obtain "appropriate visa" . 10 years back I was obtaining triple entry tourist visas to Thailand from Saigon as I was traveling to Saigon every month at that time. I was over 50. The immigration officer at Thai consulate told me that I should have a retirement visa because I live Thailand. (shown by pp stamps) . Since visa exempt entries via air have no limit you could argue that I could live in Thailand visiting Vietnam every month. It won't work.
  17. Absolute nonsense. In your case you changed address. Yes a TM30 is required for change of address.
  18. Your post has no context or relevance Yes if dealing with CW with (for example) on a visa exempt entry and requiring a 30 day extension then yes a TM30 would be required. If in the example I gave of someone ongoing living in Thailand with continuous permission of stay then TM30 is not required after overnight stays is other provinces and international exit reentry.
  19. You do not need to be retired to obtain visa such as non O based on retirement and extensions from that visa based on retirement
  20. If your friend was after 9 month stay then METV would be best option.. For 6 months it's borderline Depends on personal circumstances
  21. Yes. Yes Yes Yes. However better to fly Bangkok to Udon Thani and do two border visa exempt entries.
  22. That is a rogue office. Not the only one. With reentry permit there is No WAY you need to do a new TM30. Just to demonstrate how ridiculous if you were were dealing with adjacent CW office a TM30 would not be required.
  23. This thread I posted in link to current thread It's years old. Join into current thread
  24. Suggest that you read post from moderator Pink Mist (page one) . Your post is off topic.
